Is it possible to beat Borderlands 2 with only the minimap? What if we tried it? Can we beat Borderlands with only seeing the minimap? Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands the Pre-sequel, and Borderlands 3 all have guns that can get pretty wacky, but wacky doesn't always mean good. In this challenge run, we try to beat the game with only the minimap! Want to see me try this challenge with a different gun, grenade, or shield? Comment below on what gun, grenade, or even shield I should try next! Any gun in any game (Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2, Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, Borderlands 3, or Wonderlands!)
When it comes to FPS games your hud can provide a ton of important information like telling how much health you have or finding your next objective. But how valuable is that information, do you really need anything else? Can You beat Borderlands 2 with only the minimap? The rules for this run are simple I can only see the minimap. and to make that happen I cut a mini map-shaped hole in the box of my latest monster shipment, and taped that to my screen. My webcam will also be aimed at the screen as proof that I cannot see anything but my minimap and Twitch chat. Also YOU SHOULD GO FOLLOW ME OVER THERE AND HANGOUT WITH ME WHILE I DO CHALLENGE RUNS! Anyway, you guys will be able to see everything don’t worry the video won't look like this, that’s my job to suffer through that. Anyway, This run will be different from my other runs because we are actually going to be doing this in normal mode as opposed to OP10. I figured the EXP farming and side missions I would need to do to level up might add a little bit more pizaz to the run. As for the character we picked, Gaige was an obvious choice with her bouncing bullets and deathtrap and what-not. So we started our run by following our seeing eye robot. Home before his eye got ripped out. great now we're both blind! Anyway before we took on knuckle dragger I had to get some experience and catch my bearings. So after finding the fast-travel I held up to travel to the giraffe dlc. Mordecai can kill some of the Dahl guys here and that gives us experience, you can do this multiple times as long as you save quit before the cutscene starts so let's stack up some early EXP. Anyway that farm is busted so plan B. I held down on the fast travel menu to go to the digistruct peak to open a door for which went surprisingly well. since I'm watching the footage I can see that we made it to level 4 but I had no idea at the time. We made it back to Claptrap and started following the SILLY SOUND OF HIS VOICE. Until the scary red dots showed up. after getting angry at a cliff my overlevled melee power took out the first batch of bullymongs. Knuckle dragger showed up, I absolutely trick-shotted his lil brother out of the sky, killed Knuckle Dragger, and started looking for claptraps eye. Luckily the minimap gives an objective marker for most things that we need to pick up so we had an idea of where to look. Items also make a distinct noise when their item card pops up in

Krieg Mains are in fact, built different; however, I would argue that Basically anyone who's not playing a copy pasta Salvador has probably memorized their skill trees by this point. I think I can still remember almost all of Athena's skills.

Playing Krieg is super fun and super painful at the same time. It varies based on whether you're playing Melee, Hellborn, or some sort of weird hybrid build but you'll be spending a lot of money on respawns regardless 😂

the first and only time I played BL2 was a few years ago and I chose Krieg so I guess i'm a krieg man but I don't know shit about krieg's skill tree

Using the menu to level your crosshair is really clever and smart. Didn't know that was a thing after almost 700 hours.
Brother took the « Badasses don't look at the explosions » to the letter.
Also it could do something with the very tactical nuclear missile run (Or pouring literal slag all over ourself for an entire journey throughout Pandora ) that left severe lasting consequences on our eyesight, but who cares? We have the minimap. And we are getting the W with this one.

24:06 Could you explain why that shield was useful? I am truly puzzled, confounded, bewildered, dumbfounded, stupefied and flabbergasted on why that level requirement: 20, Smacki Maylay Shield could’ve been an iota of use to yourself.
It's useful because Gaige, the character used in this video, doesn't really get melee boosts, so having a shield that boosts melee makes her more versatile

Can you beat Borderlands 2 as the Crimson Lance?
All Axton with the Crimson Lance helmet, Plus Skin Colors to match the elements
Pyro Lance = Fire Weapons only, Soldier class mod
Lance Shock Trooper = Shock Weapons only, Shock Trooper class mod
Chemical Lance = Corrosive weapons only, Soldier class mod
The Royal Lance/ The Slag Trooper = Slag Weapons only, Soldier class mod
Since the Atlas Corporation Weapons got removed, Dahl Weapons will do.
Weapons: Veruc, Emperor, Pitchfork and the Gwen's Head.
Equipment: Basic Dahl Shield, Bouncing Bonny, and the Vault hunters relic, The Shock Trooper has to wear the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.
The no BAR rule in any bl2 challenge run is always so funny. “If I had that 26% weapon swap speed this run would be too easy” … not just you mask it’s everyone and it’s hilarious
I mean.. you could also technically have +1000% bonus gun damage.
Shoulda used the chopper. Accuracy by volume. Would have smashed all the evil!

The only game I've casually speed run in my life, me and my brother played this game heavily at launch and BL1/2 are the one game we always come back to and just crush better and better each time.
Is amazing how well you played with cardboard blocking everything but the top corner minimap.

Can you beat fallout as a vip?
Similar to the sheriff idea you help, but it's as simple as you can rock it, vip can 2 guns, one being a pistol, and his primary can be a shotgun or smg,
His bodyguards can have 2 weapons that fall under 3 classes- one running a rifle and pistol, sniper and smg, shotgun and revolver.
Vip can not have a shield equip. Bodyguards can have anything they want
Vip can be any class, but probably someone on a weaker side for HP and damage output.
Everything else that isn't described and not outlawed, is fair game!
Probably on the ultimate mode, or standard mode- dlcs are optional

Also for the rules...
Vip can have a revolver or pistol, but one of them must be a hand gun, and a different gun, no duel weilding,

If vip goes down, for any reason,

I played years ago and couldn't get past OP6 (maya) but with the kids help we have now beaten op10 on console. Seeing how you beat the game in so many different ways has been an inspiration for us to get through it together. Been a blast enjoying the time with the family and game! Obscure Borderlands knowledge but in the claptrap DLC in BL1 there is a cave maze section where the map screen is a giant question mark. Pretty sure that’s impossible to beat minimap only.
