Totally need a group of gods now in my world whose entire purpose is basically watching adventurers for the drama. If you want your character to be resurrected, you have to convince them.
I was half expecting the "thunder bringer" part at the end was just gonna be you dumping damage dice like that one sadistic dm who rolls an entire bags worth of dice XD
Thank you!😊 I started filming this the day the saga was going to be posted. I was able to post the first part of this on tiktok about four hours later and then posted the other three parts over the next four days (I think) 👍
@@Gummybear_Knight damn girl. The attention to detail in each costume is staggering for how relatively little time was put into each. Even if you don’t get a million views or whatever you’ve made something to be proud of here.
no because i literally have a 'break in case of emergency' clause in my notes just in case one of my players die. Also the production value of this one is _chef's kiss_
In my end campaign I'm planning, I am writing down everything my character does that one of the Gods dislike, and when he dies have his god have to convince the others, but all they mention is what's on my list-
Awesome costumes and but also a good example of "those" DM's who doesn't keep their promises when things don't go there way. Player: I won your game, let her go. DM: NO! You are hit by lightning and you die waaa!
@@GlitchGhost1285 Yeah, I wasn't planning to have the dm act like that at the beginning but with how the song goes it fit the best. Hopefully once the next saga comes out I'll be able to find a way for the dm atone for their actions👍
There’s a 3rd party module called Odyssey of the Dragonlords, which is inspired by Greek myth. The gist of the module is that the party gets together via prophesy to solve their own problems/attain a goal and save the world *:)
1st: Great costumes, really enjoyed seeing them 2nd: Even if I liked the basis, it would've been nice to change a few more parts to better fit the tabletop experience 3rd: Such a fun idea to put into effect with such effort
Personally for me I would have given Hephaestus to the artificer but I guess warlock works. Working constantly under a higher being (Zeus in this case) is a warlock’s thing.
I was so suprised when i firs theard god games, because I have a dnd homebrow that houses about 15 gods who LOVE to meddle with the party(s) in that homebrew world since they get bored easily. god games, and this too, reminded me SM of tha thomebrew Ofc what i just told u is like- the very short brief explanation
This is my first time watching one of your videos this is so good I subscribe and I am going to watch more I can’t wait to see what you do for get in the water when it comes out
So I've been trying to think of who the Barbarian/Ares outfit reminds me, and it finally hit me! You look like a badass Vincent Valentine from FF7! Maybe the Barbarian could come back for "Monster" from the Underworld Saga!
What’s cool is that the costumes fit their species (warlock, Druid, etc) but also matches the Greek gods!! I can’t tell you how much I love this!! 🤩🤩 Edit: after watching it, I noticed that Athena’s outfit changes with each god!! That’s incredible!!!
Apollo played by a cleric?? Interesting choice. I would've guessed bard. Hephaestus seems like he'd be an artificer. Aphrodite seems like a rogue/bard multiclass. Ares as a barbarian is definitely fitting. Hera as the bard is another fascinating choice. I like it.
What if the cleric is in need of help and the one shot is the cleric playing as their god convincing the rest of the pantheon to lend aid to the party.
While this is great, I personally would have done the classes a bit differently Apollo: Bard Hephaestus: Artificer Aphrodite: (Druid is also my best pick though there’s not really any classes that really fit her too well) Ares: Barbarian (agreed on that one) Hera: Cleric To be clear, not a criticism, I don’t think it’s a big deal and it’s still a great vid either way
.....I can't tell if the earrings on the Athena player are Uno cards or not and it's bugging me. But other then that, this was actually REALLY well made, good job!
Hot take: Athena's arguments were almost all weak or just untrue. Odysseus betrayed his crew, not the other way around. He was only imprisoned by Zeus on Ogygia with Calypso, which is what motivated the game, so Idk if that's what she's referring to. "He can still build a future with those who miss him." His mom is dead, his son never met him, and therefore can't miss him, he widowed his own sister, and he's not the same man his wife married, he's become a monster, so it wouldn't be shocking if she didn't want to remain married to the man he became. Even his dog is almost dead. Who's he building a future with?? Also, "Tell your lover that a broken heart can mend." SHE *_DIED_* OF A BROKEN HEART. A dead heart cannot mend. It's dead.
Ive yet to see one of these where hephaestus wasnt my favorite part. That being said quick question, some of the captions were obviously changed for the rogue but some seemed to be typos or misunderstood lyrics? Or do i just not know the backstory for it? Like genius becoming genesis for example
I love the costumes and all, but I cannot let a mistake. Be let go without me having to point it out for future reference. I’m very sorry if this brings or gives the wrong message of negativity I truly love the costumes. I think they are beautiful and would love to see more of them, but I don’t see why you didn’t make Apollo A bard or Hephaestus an artificial but other than that, I have been it’s very good and I think you should do the entire series when you can and I just wanted to say Aries as a barbarian is absolutely genius
@@hydrahead8746 I actually do have a start of a dnd series with these characters on tiktok and I probably gotten about 20 of similar comments over there saying that Apollo should be a bard too lol. I choose a Cleric because, that character is a light Cleric and their patron is basically the dnd equal of Apollo! :) And the Warlock choice for Hephaestus is because pure vibes of the two characters. Though an artificer would have been prefect if I had a character that was one (but I don't yet :/)

Omg low key bad as
Got a warlock who’s like this but actually made one of them laugh. Now they serve as their entertainment.

Turning a player's revival into a one shot where the other players act as obstacles to overcome, wether through roleplay or combat, sounds amazing
Yep, and their most prominent mistakes and most impactful relationships from the past are what decides the challenges set.

Okay so this would be the coolest thing ever. I am absolutely going to brainrot about this for my greek mythos campaign that I've been making.

Having a side campaign to bring your character back to the main campaign would be pretty sick though
I absolutely love this take on the songs!
Apollo should have been the bard obviously
This whole video series was amazing had me itching for the next part every time
