- Saw @ the theater when I was younger, The battle of Right vs Wrong is as important now as much if not more than back then. Remember greed is NOT good, It's just 1 of the 7 Deadlies ! 👿

Man we really need 1 billion Billy Jack's right now 20/20.
Joe Ayala 10.10 billion 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
True that !!
Just one would be helpful 😉
@@MTMgrand0316 maybe still not enough.
Love his hat !! 💕💕
I am 53, when I was in the 2nd grade, I begged my mother to buy me a pair of Levi's and jacket and blue suede boots and I wore it to school everyday for a week, I loved the character Tom Laughlin played as Billy Jack, a protector against tyrannical authority. Brings back a flood of memories watching these clips, thanks
Same here, will hit 54 in 5 days... 😲
Me too😊
@@dianemorris5816 Thinking back, growing up pre-personal computers & cell phones wasn't difficult at all. Ya don't miss what ya ain't got. 😉
@@LawdyLawd In many ways, life before internet and cellphones was pretty nice.
funny how now the left IS the tyrannical authority.
The song as well as the character can be just as relevant today as it was nearly a half century ago. Billy believed in peace but he also believed in law and order. And when those responsible for upholding the law break the law, he believed they had to be held accountable. R.I.P. Tom Laughlin and Delores Taylor; the essence of the character you two created will live forever. In a way I'm happy the remake never came to be. Today's Hollywood just would have bastardized it.
I hope I am correct when I say the following, "There should be people like what Billy Jack believed in back then living today "
well said
I loved that movie
I saw this movie in high school. I still love it and totally agree with you
There are we are ready to start very soon
Rest in peace Billy Jack.you will always be truly missed
One of the few movies that gave me hope to survive my childhood. Especially as a total mixbreed.
I try to not use martial arts against people. But I will protect myself
He was from Milwaukee and stood up for Indian rights, A true hero.
so true
Now do Leonard Peltier.
I stand for everybody's rights.
Yes ! Native Americans have been so badly mistreated !
@@yoyo762 Including, murderers, rapists, and crooked politicians? You are the problem.
I love that line "when policemen break the law, than there isn't any law, just survival". That is so true.
When those who make the Law's brake those Law's,
There is no Law,
There's Just a Fight for Survival
@@HammerCole-vh5yu Sadly that is where we are today in our country.
@@buck546
I agree with you.
We still have the hope that it will turn around. I believe that good people, Patriots became complacent and didn't believe at first just how bad and downhill things are going. I believe that a great awakening is happening, and we will not only salvage but make strong again that we know.
Keep the Faith, Be Diligent and pass the word Brother.
@@HammerCole-vh5yu You know it. I was raised deep in rural America where we believe in God, Family, Country, and Guns. We were so country most times Sunday dinner was beans and potatoes with hot biscuits on the side. I will never give up the faith it worth fighting for my friend.
Prophetic!
As a child , I grew up watching '' Billy Jack '' . It was great
ditto... 👍
It was a great show ❤
I'm a older Native American!! BillyJack (Tom Laughlin) was always my Hero in movies!! ♥️🥰
Break law on Indian land you have to answer to their rules they have right to set them says son in treaties. The Indian police have right to confiscate vehicles just for speeding.
@@Annieisfreejustlikebutterfliesyes but non tribal members have to be turned over to Sheriff or staties. Same is true for most violations by NDN on non tribal property to be turned over to tribal police.
That kick was pretty good wasn’t it?
I grew up in Baltimore and I am part Cherokee, I fought many fights and always kept this in mind, Billy Jack will never die as long as his people live, honor and fight with his mentality!
We would have a much kinder world 🌎
I learned to fight from a Japanese American 😎
We need a LOT of Billy Jacks today.
I was 25 when I saw this movie, 72 now still love it. R.I.P. Tom Laughlin.
Get the real FACKS . IT IS SO DIFFERENT.
It was. Not like that. Do your SELF FIND OUT THE FACTS FIRST.
The song brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. And I've heard it a lot in my 67 years. Was in, it's the same today. Everyone wants whatever everybody else has. That's why I want nothing at all.
Same here.
I'm with you both on that ❤
Billy knows how to take care of business. Need more like him.
The spirit of Billy Jack will never die for it lives on within us that are good and seek to do good and Justice and defend those who cannot defend themselves. May the Lord God bless your soul Tom Laughlin AKA Billy Jack
Its a phuckin hollywood movie you moron... there is no "spirit".
Long live Billy jack
Heroes get involved can't stand by for bullying
I too saw this at the theater when I was a kid. Tom Laughlin was one of my heroes back in the '70s. He was a one man wrecking crew! But not a bully that's the distinction we all have to learn.
Actually, it was Master Bong Soo Han who did the majority of the Billy Jack fight scenes in the film, including the famous kick to the face in the park. He was the real one man wrecking crew.
I first saw Billy Jack when it came out over 53 years ago. I loved the message and Billy Jack has always been my mythological spiritual hero and will be until my dying day. Rest in Peace Billy.
❤❤❤
Me too
SAME!!!!
Same here!!

I'm 64 and I did purchase Billy Jack love that show😊 my daughter is 32 and she even enjoyed it .
When I was 21 I went to the drive-in every night for a week and watched this movie, and it is still one of my favorite movies of all time
I may forget what I ate for breakfast or wonder why I walked into a room, but i remember every line to this song!
Ditto! The song & movie... lol 😊
I have loved this song since childhood.and this movie is simply incredible.it honestly has no equel.
Gosh, I'm old! Remember seeing this movie at the theater! Loved it ❤❤
Loved Billy Jack!!! 💪💪💪 RIP Tom Laughlin. ❤️
Tom Laughlin "Billy Jack' and Delores Taylor "Jean Roberts" wrote the screenplay for Billy Jack to protest the treatment of American Indians. They were married from 1954 till 2013 when Tom passed away.
You know there won't be a damn thing you can do about it. Awesome!
Still watching. Still love this man...the actor and the character. A true hero. R.I.P. Tom and Billy.❤️❤️
Loved what he stood for.
Great Deep song people should take time to listen to the words especially in today's world.
I was just thinking that same thing. I remember the song on AM radio, and never really paid attention to the words, as I was pretty young when it came out. After I got older I watched the movie again, and this time I really listened to the words. Powerful indeed. After the mountain people said they would share their treasure, the valley people decided they wanted it all for themselves and proceeded to kill the mountain people to steal their treasure, which was written in stone in three simple words......peace on earth! A treasure worth more than gold!
I listened to the words on account of your quote yes it is a very fine song and meaningful words
I have watched that movie so many times i can,t remember how many , I actually learnt to play that song on guitar and sung it at a party one night , no one had ever heard of it but actually loved it , great lyics with meaning .
I loved Billy Jack. I always look out for kids and do not tolerate bullies. I got that from my heroes. Audie Murphy, John Wayne, Buford Pusser and yes… BILLY JACK!
I couldn't pick finer heroes than what you have.
I knew of a guy, his brother was a friend of mind. In school in the 70's he got teased because of his name. Boom! One punch knockout. I asked his brother last year at a party if Jim ever bullied anybody. "Never!" ....I walked into class in high school. This guy was picking on this other guy. I told the bully to leave the guy alone. He did.
brings a tear to my eye all these decades later.
Ditto! 🥲
I think Billy Jack is the best movie made!
Tom brought life to this character Billy Jack. He was Billy. Thank you Tom. Sorry I just saw this utube clip and now just commenting. Im native american so this was close to my heart back in early 70's.
That song has a message that is as important today as it was then.😥
This was my favorite movie character even though it was who Tom was. Will always remember this. God Bless Tom and thank you for bringing life to this type of character
Agree & YW. 👍
My hero 50 yrs ago. We need more!🐎🐎🐎
I saw the movie when I was 12 years old. My father and I were walking out of the movie theater when he asked what I thought of the movie. I told him I loved it and that someday I would be a high school principal. He laughed and patted my head and said, sure son. Twelve years later I took on our community to build a new alternative high school for difficult kids. It was a fight that lasted for years. We finally won and now have a great school with great kids. I use the section of Billy standing up for the Native kids in the show. A great lesson for all of us
Awesome!
You are a prince,and a hero.
Billy would approve.
I watched the moon landing in 1969 when this movie came out and wanted to be an astronaut. I got close and now am a retired pilot. Dreams come true when you're young.
He was a peace maker I wish he was still around
No he was violent to people who hurt the indians
I remember mastering that inside crescent kick back in '77 as a young kid. I idolized Billy Jack - and the scene in the park was about as good as any martial arts around. Chuck Norris had come out with "Good Guys Wear Black" but Billy Jack epitomized good over evil...
Is that Judo or Karate?
I studied Tae Kwon Do - Kuk Sul Wan - and Hap Ki Do. Hap Ki Do had a lot of throws and joint locks - but the kicks were more Tae Kwan Do. I never came across the inside crescent kick in Judo or Tai Chi styles.
He was my first love crush. 💜
Forever Grateful . for 1 tin Soldier
We really need a thousands Billy Jack over here in Brasil right now 2023!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
This movie and the main character taught me about having a code of morality. It taught this odd kid who had lost his father. A little bit about manhood. And a lot about honor and being true to yourself and your ideals. I learned that you stay true to your personal code and the only thing you have to answer to is that face in the mirror. Regardless of the cost to you. The betrayal of yourself and the dishonor you do to yourself is a price you can never repay.
What a great man he was. I watched his move many times & now I am in my 60ies
So handsome also the song gives me chill so beautifull
I love this movie. I saw it as a kid and it woke me up to the injustice done towards the Indians.
me too
Yes and the Elites are at it again they ruined the Indians now they want the working class let's go Brandon.
Always loved me some Billy Jack ❤️
It was this show that got me into martial arts
This movie came out in 1971 and I remember it vividly for 2 reasons: I saw it at the completion of my jump school training in Fort Benning. Also this was my generation and we all related to it.❤
I saw this in the 80s. I enjoyed it. Love ❤️ ❤️ the song.
He was the real deal ❤️ ! We miss you Tom
He was terrific. What an interesting guy he was.
no more heroes
Just watched all 4 of his movies and Tom and Delores and their daughter Teresa were awesome, been watching it for years and I love it just like the 1st time, our government needs to go backwards and fix the corruption they have brought in
LOVE BILLY JACK AND WHAT HE STOOD FOR
In 1996 they were making a new Billy Jack movie. I had the extreme pleasure of handling their business billing account with At&t. They were so impressed with the way I handled their account they contacted my boss. The next thing I know I was presented with a plaque for excellence in customer service under the Billy Jack account. It's now 2020 and it's something I will always treasure. I remember watching the original movie in the early 1970s. Little did I know I would have impacted their phone account (saved them thousands of $$) during a future movie production many years later. This song always invoked deep emotion in me. 😉💜
Thank you for sharing your memory, I also saw the movie at the theater when released.
10 years earlier in 1986 there were making a 5th Billy Jack movie called "The Return of Billy Jack" but something went wrong during production and they never finished it....wish they continued making more BJ movies into the 80s and 90s.
Loved this man and his movies.❤❤ His message: Start no trouble but take no s*it"❤👍HE was Chuck Norris before Chuck lol.
R.I.P. Tom and Billy Jack.
We miss you.

I had no idea there was a chatroom or they even gathered, It must have been a great time meeting and conversing with them in person. I would love to have been there. 😍
