I do not understand the point of these. What do they achieve? They have them in the shop window of my local m&s like what is that doing just get a security system? There is also one in an abandoned field near my housing estate because apparently people were causing ‘disturbances by just riding bikes or meeting up with friends.
so who is going to take any notice of that got one down the road on a building site in a built-up area glad I don't live next to it as it could go off with some one just walking by it
This is a good video because it shows what happens if you get near the contraption. They have just put one on a small site near me in London. I find the thing very sinister (until i heard the accent on your video!). But i am going to try to cover it with a blanket using an extension pole and see if that disables it. All your 'technology taking over' points are valid. How these things can just be allowed to be installed in our environment is seriously worrying. We're on a slippery slope now. Ted Kaczynski was right.
I'm the Engineer that fitted them to this site, and the reason it doesn't alarm easy should be quite obvious, you wasn't on the site it's self, if you break in on site then you'll certainly find out how they work when you're being taken away in handcuffs. What would be the point in having it alarm all night as people walk dogs. 🙄
Hi, can you explain the reason they have them in place, is it to catch people speeding, on there phone etc, or just so people don’t tamper with what’s around it ??
It's a shame these weren't around when I was a kid........it'd given me hours of fun and entertainment
I walked past one by accident earlier. I was in tears when i heard the accent
I like the idea that Gerry Adams is sat in a little booth with a microphone somewhere waiting for them to trigger.
Thanks for uploading this! I got buzzed by one of these as I was cycling near it a few weeks ago - no one believed these existed haha
Haha wont be long till people are walking up with a tarpaulin...smothering it and stealing them 🤣
I wonder how much the Travelers will be selling these for ON EBAY after taking them from THE SITES 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Red Alert! Take us out here Mr. Data!
Rumor has it Jerry Adam's gave his voice for these darleks
does anyone actually show up if it gets set off it would be very annoying being called out every 5 secs cus someone walked by a fence
No most likely not they're most likely just a deterrent
I believe it gets sent to an office for the security system who sends out alerts when necessary
Looks like something from the portal games
Glados

“Warning! This is Security! Your presence has been detected! The owner and police have been informed!”

It's just a temporary machine, go put ya foil blanket back on🤣
Tyre with some petrol in it should do the trick.
Do they record voice , as I work next to one all day and is it sending out wifi all day ? Is it safe to be near all day ?
Your phone sends of a hell of a lot more 3g than that thing all day so you're fine being next to it all day. All day.
Hastings that you?
are we not gonna talk about the fact this sounds like inspector campbell from peaky blinders?
Could just EMP it then it’s useless...
Do you have a device to EMP them with you're not Thatcher from Rainbow Six Siege

There in a site near me and pure crap never once seen the police coming out when there set off,,
You’re not going to be taken away in handcuffs for slipping past a heras fence... if all depends on the status of the site of course
@@anthonyperkins1101 So people don’t tamper with what’s around the alarm.
My mates nicked two of the daleks off a site and nothing happened? They make cool garden ornaments 😂😂
