Thank you for the effort and precise tutorials. Learning through the app questions leaves us with so much confusion and fahrlerers do not bother by explanation and just expect you to know everything. That's where heros come to rescue and you indeed doing it here! Big Thank to you.❤

Your explanation ability is incredible. You are a very nice instructor. I wish, I register in your driving school. But unfortunately, I live in Stuttgart.

Thank you so much for your videos! I have recently moved to Germany from the USA and was pretty nervous about driving here. Your videos have answered a lot of questions! Thanks again :)

Thank you for your kind comment Jaqueline! Just a reminder: after registering your residence in Germany, you can continue driving with your US license for 6 months. Use this time to convert your license into a German one, because after these six months, it won't be valid anymore (unless you are a military member). The US is considered a privileged country, and depending on which state you received your license in, the conversion process can be quite straightforward. (I am doing this for my wife right now too) All the best, Dario!

Thank you so much for your great videos.
I got my driving license in Germany 6 months ago. But now Im more worried about the rules when I am driving than the exam.
It would be great if you could tell us about the driving rules in practice that are not covered in the exam. For example parking signs ( I know the signs meaning ) every time I am going to park somewhere i think I will be fined soon by police. Once again thank you in advance.

Thank you for your Input and that you still follow my channel! Its true parking is very confusing due a lot of different signs. Its a nice idea to think about topics that might be relevant after the exam. Thank you!

In my opinion, a video on how to recognize a lowered curb would be helpful.

    • @fahrlingo

Thank you! Yes they can be tricky to detect. I made a video regarding how to detect hidden roads from the right. ruclips.net/video/L-y9ecSxS44/видео.html But i have not talked about curbs. Thanks for your suggestion!

@@fahrlingo and one more. It's not well explained, but could be interested not as a part f exam, but as useful experience: legal way to buy used car step by step (documents and field meaning, insurance, etc.)

6:37 do you not have lights like this that just have an orange light, meaning you just have to show caution for maybe people crossing or traffic from the left if the light is for you turning right? I have seen them as green, completely out, showing a red light but I have also seen what I think is the same type with only an orange light, which my instructor tried his best to tell me is simply a green but to show caution for the reasons I gave, or was the orange a different type?

    • @fahrlingo
      @fahrlingo  Год назад

Hello! Thank you for your question! Yes, there are also traffic lights with only one light, they usually shine yellow. In Frankfurt and Hanau we have two types.
      1) You have already described the first one. It lights up yellow continuously, for example to warn you of a zebra crossing that is difficult to see. You should pass with increased attention. This means that if you cannot see potential pedestrians from a distance, it is better to reduce your speed. However, if you can see from a distance that there is no risk, you can simply pass without slowing down.
      2) Sometimes you will find a single yellow traffic light before a curve, behind which there is an intersection with traffic lights. This single yellow traffic light is then displayed together with the triangular danger sign "Caution traffic lights". If the yellow traffic light is lit and flashing, you know that the next traffic light behind the intersection is red or will soon turn red and you must expect waiting cars behind the curve. If the single traffic light is off, the traffic light behind the curve is green and you do not have to expect a tailback.
I hope I could answer your question!
      Kind regards, Dario

@@fahrlingo Hey, thanks so much, cleared much up for me. I am learning to drive in Germany but my instructor speaks absolutely no English, sadly though was the only school available and so although hand gestures and some single word German is understandable, its impossible to have anything even remotely like this clarification or talks during my driving or after it for that matter. Thanks again, am on lesson 7, still making many errors or missing signs due to anxiety or them just being so different from the UK, but I am getting there and much of it is with help from youtube and people like you, so thanks again for the great response and great videos!
