I love those wax flowers you used. They gave a nice pop of color and look beautiful on there. I think the fancy board got too big and busy. I like the simplicity of the cheaper board this round for looks, but I'd totally be munching on the options given for the expensive cheese board. :)
the wax flowers are so cute! i love them to style food… yea it did get a litttle busy, i feel like green grapes would have toned it down a bit. i loved the smaller one like a fancy adult lunchable! lol
The "cheap" board is just the right side for our family get together. (There are seven of us in the extended family.) We typically use brie and cheddar, though. Love your meat choices, too.
Speaking of cheese, what spice would you use on a grilled cheese with gouda and mushrooms? Can you use two spices or would the flavors conflict? Many thanks.
$25 cheese board for me ^.^ but dang the second is so huge :D those tiny flowers just pop in the eyes and makes everything look good... just wondering can i order a catering cheese board from you !!! hahaha xD
I personally don’t like the mix of candies on a charcuterie board. I also find the flowers unnecessary and in the way. Give me a board with meats, veggies, cheeses, crackers, and fruit! I think a separate board for sweets/dessert would be cute. I just personally prefer them separate, but that’s just me.
I think that would add to decorating the table. One board with savory and the other with sweet snacks.... Maybe with nuts on both, but no other crossovers.
