힙합 50주년을 맞이해 스트리트 댄스와 미국 본토 힙합 댄스를 주제로, 한-미 청년 예술가들이 예술의 혼이 흐르는 곳에서 펼치는 협업 공연이다. 힙합의 4대 요소인 DJ와 래퍼, 그들의 음악에 맞춰 춤을 추는 비보이, 양국의 유쾌한 배틀댄스로 구성되었으며, 문화적인 경계를 넘어 미국과 한국 댄서들의 힙한 무브를 선보였다.

스트리트 댄스와 미국 본토 힙합 댄스를 주제로 하는 [힙합 어크로스 더 보더스]에는 남가주대학교의 에이미 브로튼, 디에고 로페즈, 셰이 핸콕, 자네이 홀스터, 암발 마토스 오티즈, 카딘 정, 제일린 본, 카이슨 카이, 시몬 피터슨, 줄리아 로우가 참여했다. 한국에서는 서울예술대학교 한유나, 김용휘, 최민혁, 위주영, 임지원, 김민지, 임지현, 염지원, 장주나, 이봄 등 무용 전공 학생이 참여했다.

Hip-hop 50th anniversary, Young artists from Korea and the United States erupted onto the collaborative dance stage, exploring the themes of street dance and mainland American hip-hop. Seamlessly blending the fundamental elements of hip-hop-DJing and rapping-accompanied by dynamic dance battles, these performances transcended cultural boundaries, filling the stage with their cool moves.

In ‘Hip Hop Across the Borders', themed around street dance and mainland American hip-hop dance, students majoring in dance. These students included Aimee Brotten, Diego Lopez, Shea Hancock, Janae Holster, Ambar Matos Ortiz, Cardin Chung, Jaelin Born, Kyson Kai, Simone Peterson, and Julia Lowe from the University of Southern California. From the Seoul Institute of the Arts, students included Una Han, Yonghwi Kim, Minhyuk Choi, Joing Wei, Jiwon Lim, Minji Kim, Jihyun Lim, Jiwon Yum, Juna Chang, and Bom Lee.
