    I have to say, I have maybe sort of binged your videos over the last couple of days and a big part of my enjoyment of them is your editing. It's spot on and really fun to watch. Of course, everything else is a big contributor as well, but the editing is just...*chefs kiss*

    Hi anti-chef, I kind of have fun watching you. Sometimes I wish I could jump in hahahaha. Great tips here: Before using glucose syrup, put in the microwave for 5/10 SECONDS (depending on the amount in the bottle). Will be more liquid and easier to work with it. Beijos

    Love your vidoes! I continue to make Tosi layer cakes and I watch you make the cake before I do it. Keep the Tosi baking up!
    Also, I could not find this recipe on her website, so THANK YOU so much for sharing it. This is by far my favorite flavor combo. I bring this cake to my family Christmas gathering and I am so excited for everyone to try it. Wish I could say Merry F****** Christmas like you say, but my In-Laws will be there, along with my children.

    The cake looks absolutely stunning and adding a small sprinkle of crushed candy cane around the main star candy cane looked beautiful as it just picked out the colours. I’m going to have a go of the cake this Christmas and will also add the candy cane centre piece with a sprinkle of the magic candy cane dust ❤🎄

    Light corn syrup is a substitute for glucose. Karo is what I use in her recipes when it calls for glucose. Cheap and wonderful. You're welcome

      I have found that only Saran Wrap is worth buying. Everything else is too thin, too fly away, and smelly to boot.

    Hey, dude. I've watched a bunch of your videos, spanning a couple years, over the last couple of day so it was easy to notice a few things. Of course, this could just be the ones I've seen. But your troublespots seem to be eggshells and over baking. You don't ever show checking the oven a few minutes early but just trust the recipe's suggestion. So maybe you check? Anyway. Love your Tosi devotion becuse her recipes are batshit crazy.

      ah that makes sense... A lot of the time I cut out a lot of what goes on while the food is in the oven baking, but I agree I'm really bad at that.. most recently, there is an upcoming video where I'm truly guilty of that... I need to untrust those recipe suggestions...
      The eggshells in the egg whites I'm more aware of these days...Thanks for the tips!!

    I liked your bowl passer helper and how great it was when you did substitutions and it worked out great. My best part was the saying when you throw the cake down for your friends and family. Here's your ÷#'f Christmas cake. I heard ifvyou put your cling wrap in the fridge it should work better for you. Ive never tried it. Great job your cake looked awesome.     The measurements are random on these Tosi recipes because most likely, are derived from a much larger recipe. That is a good idea to just halve, quarter a recipe but I’m not sure it always works. Some of these cakes Jamie has been making don’t look like the right texture to hold in layers or is it his cooking I’m not sure, he does cook alright some of his Julia child recipes turn out better than hers.

    I love fruitcake. If you remember correctly, you messed up your fruitcake recipe, you also used the wrong kind of cherries in it. So when your fruitcake didn't turn out that was really just because you messed it up. Fruitcakes are wonderful and delicious. You baked anger and resentment into yours. I think you should make it again.

    Bro. You were just at the store. Why not buy any other missing ingredients while you’re there instead of having to go home and improvise. Maybe I’m too new to the channel to understand what you’re going for but in my (and for anyone else I’ve ever worked with or watched) experience you traditionally make sure you have all the ingredients for a recipe you’re going to make beforehand. Is there some kindof gimmick here where you can’t look at any part of the recipe beforehand and only read as you go? That sure would account for how you weren’t able to eliminate wasted and potentially burnt product with your glucose mistake
