    I love finding TLC dolls and restoring them! I loved them all! I can’t choose just one! 😅They all look so great after their spa day 🧖‍♀️❤

    I enjoyed watching you how you rescued them to their former glory. I have bought vintage Barbie’s that are sitting inside the tub waiting on their spa day. Thank you for showing me what it needs to be done. You did such beautiful job.

    Peaches n cream makeover was the biggest transformation to me but I loved all of them ❤ Seeing the little bit of the old video (Rapunzel thrift) was a little bit of nostalgia magic for me I will rewatch those videos tonight. I love all of your videos. I’d love to see more of these types of videos please, so much fun!❤

    Chad, I used “magic eraser “ I bought from Dollar Tree store. Wet it and wipe any mark off from doll. It’s working on my thrift dolls as they look new.

    Sometimes you can use a Pink Pearl eraser to lift ink stains out of vinyl. Recently I got a couple of 2009 era Barbie dolls
    with ink on the legs and one dot on the cheek and out of curiosity I tried the pink eraser on the spots before I washed the
    dolls and the spots lifted right out of the vinyl.

    Expo marker is sometimes able to remove permanent marker. Just have to wet it down really good with the expo ink then wipe it before it dries.

    I love this video I think you should do more videos like this and restore and restyle dolls. Especially you are talented in the face paint and things like that you could do so much with this and make it like a weekly thing on your channel I will definitely tune in every week🎉❤

    I have been there with matted kenakelon hair. Not on a Rapunzel so not as long. Lots of shredding! It always benefits a lot from a boil wash which in my experience straightens the hair perfectly. I am always happy with the results because they were neglected lost dolls anyways lol. Yours turned out amazing they look so good and so refreshed.

    Hi Chad! Such a great make over and restyle!! The Midge is my favorite. I have her too and she is one of my favorite 80's Barbies. Awesome job!! Just FYI....she is from 1988. 🙂🙂

    The Barbie with the white dress and the ruffle I forget the name but I know the dress has a gimmick so you can move the ruffle and play around

    This may have been said already, but I used some talcum powder on my sticky legged Barbies. I was cleaning up my childhood Barbies and figured if it didn't work I could just wash it off. It helped quite a bit and the results have lasted several months.

    This video is 8 months old so you probably know this by now but you lost so much hair also due to using a plastic bristle brush. Always use metal, the our generation doll brushes are perfect for Barbie they are metal and won't damage Barbies hair ❤❤

    Thanks for sharing, Chad! I’ve been binging all of your videos lately. After I watch them through the first time, I sometimes listen to them again to fall asleep to 😅 I just really like your voice and energy! I don’t collect Barbies personally but you make Barbie content really engaging. I actually don’t remember how I found you haha but I’m glad I did. ☺️ Happy Tuesday ❤

    You made them all look so pretty. Do you know what to do about the discoloration on the legs? I have 2 thrift dolls that have that problem.

    • @ChadMarvelous
      @ChadMarvelous  10 месяцев назад +2

      To my understanding, the lighter spots on the doll's legs are not reversible. At least that's what other people have told me. If you're the type of collector who prefers to have the original, everything, the original body, etc, then it's just part of collecting. Collecting. Otherwise, the only other option I can think of is finding a body donor in a skin tone that matches and put the doll's head on a new body that doesn't have the discoloration.

    you bake your doll in acne cream and plastic wrap in the sun to get marks off your dolls that cant wash off
