Yes...so very thankful that u and your family are doing well and safe...I was so worried when I didn't hear anything from you especially after all those tornados that I heard were heading to Oklahoma!! Was ur property all right when u returned home?

Shoulda just dug the whole property up and made a big lake, stocked it, built a houseboat, and charged admission for fishing!😁😁😁😁 Man that's a lot of run off! The pigs needed a larger pond anyway. We did miss the vlogs. Glad everyone is ok and still kickin'.
For tender meat I've always been told to cut the meat across the grain instead of with the grain. It makes a difference especially for the cuts that aren't naturally tender. That barbeque looked delicious!
Good to here from you. Thank God you are all good. I misses seeing you on Kevin's video about the wood chipper. You two are great together.

It’s so GREAT to be able to visit family now!! I visited my 95 yr old Aunt just this morning for first time in months!! So HAPPY y’all are OK and getting to see family!!!!
Glad everyone is safe. It great that you got to see your family especially your grandmother being that old you have to spend any time you can with her.
Josie from Cedar Creek Homestead said they were hit by the tornado, they had minor damage. Howie her husband died from C-19 last November or early December, it’s got to be hard not having your husband in situations like this.
Just saw Josie was reporting Cheyenne may be going into early labor early. Prayers for this momma and baby Howie.

Dutch, what’s crazy is when you guys were riding those bikes I thought to my self,, “I know that neighborhood . That’s my block.” I had to look up where you guys were and sure enough you guys were in my neighborhood by deer valley park. I had no idea the bikes were right behind my house. To bad I didn’t see ya, I woulda yelled DUTCH!!!!
I grew up out West, used to BBQ Tri-tip. I would marinate them in beef broth, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper, then sauté onions, and peppers to go with. They make for a great sandwich on large hard rolls, dipping them in a separate beef broth mixture...yum, yum, so delicious. Here in NC, you just can't find them, unless you special order.
Just ate a late night snack (missed dinner, too busy) and you're making me hungry!!! sounds delicious!

Dutch some of the worse tornadoes we’ve had here and Arkansas were in December 1982/83.. you just never know.. conditions being just right can spawn them for sure..

Not just Cali! My husband wanted blue hair, so I dyed it! Along with my son. Then my daughter wanted two streaks in her curly locks. They all loved it! I think they look cool 😎! We’re in mid- Missouri 🤣!

Oildale! My husband and I looked at houses there when we were thinking we'd be able to move to the Bakersfield area. Obviously, that didn't work out. Bakersfield is a really nice city.

Grew up in Livermore, CA. Graduated high school there. Then joined the Army and traveled overseas and all over the US and settled in a small town in the Bootheel of Southeast Missouri. 🤪🇺🇸❤️
Moved to lLivermore in te 70s and lived between there and Pleasanton for about 30 years. I loved it. Both towns have great communities. Then I moved up near Yosemite for several years. And now I’m in a teeny tiny town near Reno, NV.
@@bobbiemooser7417 would go to the fair and horse races in Pleasanton all the time, hit a deer once on my through to Pleasanton in my 1974 Camaro scared the crap out of me. Those were the good old days. 👍🇺🇸❤️
Loved the fair. My uncle started Arabian horse racing there. He grew up in Pleasanton walked to school with a kid named Max Bear (spelling?)Do you remember those children who were kidnapped and buried in the bus on Bernal? Thank goodness they all were found safe. That certainly put Livermore on the map! I worked the California film festival when it came to town, had Brownie and Girl Scout troops. I feel fortunate to have lived there. Great people.

Welcome back! BBQ is a way of life for the comp crowd. Great bunch of folks though. I know you'll be giving tri tip a go. Try cooking 2 but take the 2nd one to 200 - 205 internal temp like brisket. Dutch, I really enjoyed watching this video. I moved to Hawaii from Orange County, California about 15 years ago and it was actually nice to see some of those areas I use to drive through after all these years. Those BBQ trucks are huge here in Honolulu and nice to see there is a “method to all the Madness’ so to speak when it comes to these competitions. I don’t cook but I BBQ big time, lol!
