1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 - Engine bay detail & restoration

Restoration and detailing on a 1955 Oldsmobile 324 engine. The 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 featured the same engine as the 98 series, a Rochester 4-jet carburetor with a 324 cubic inch engine. They referred to this engine as the "Rocket 202", in reference to the horsepower rating. The engine details include the correct Rochester 4-jet, model 7007000 carburetor, bat-wing air cleaner, correct green paint with yellow lettering on valve covers. It also features the original AC fuel filter, Delco generator, correct hoses and hose clamps, correct dual action fuel pump and steel lines for fuel and vacuum.

My kind of engine bay!!! All stock, no chrome or aftermarket garbage. And wow the original type generator and air cleaner. I'm so impressed. My flathead Ford doesn't look that clean.
