What is the measurement from the top of the bar (where your foot would step) and the bottom bar ? Wondering how much ground clearance would be lost?, thanks
The Body behind the bar is 12.5 inches off the ground. The bar is 9.5 inches off the ground. I also measured the rear diff, which was 9.5 inches as well and the rear shock mounts, which are 10 inches.
Yes, on the mounting brackets only. Minor considering I live in the rust belt, this sees heavy winter use, and I seen new cars in the area with rust on their rocker panels. I do plan to do a follow up video showing this issue. I think I will pull in a few more years and recoat. No issues with the steps themselves, they seem to have a pretty good coating and are aluminum.

I purchased these because of the price and aesthetically pleasing look. Unfortunately they are package without the consideration that they are tossed around by the companies they pay to deliver them. I received mine damaged and scratched from Fedex just like i seen in many reviews. I called real trucks on Monday and started a claim, they said they would follow up with my case and to this day not a sinlge email or call.
Not sure how it works with these pieces, but with my airplane the claim has to be filed with the shipping company since they caused the damage due to their negligence and poor handling.

It's 9.5 inches from the ground to the bottom of the bar. The step is about 13.6 inches.
how have the running boards held up?
They where still looking good after year. Unfortunately the truck was sold, so I can't report how well they are currently doing.

There isn't any adjustment in and out, just some fore and aft.

Dog eatting saw dust love it, tell that dog to quit smoking.
He is strange. I think the cancer he had was probably caused by eating saw dust from pressure treated wood.
