@@unnithencheri sorry dear I have not appeared for IGCAR interview so don't exact procedure but i believe it should be same as BARC.
@@unnithencheri not sure about the selection of subject but 5 strong subject is sufficient to crack any technical interview......prepare core instrumentation subject is must

Industrial instrumentation(mechanical) means pressure, tempreture, flow etc measurement.

Do they look for backlogs ??
If so at which extent they tolerate our backlogs?
There are some eligibility criteria for selection, In document verification they just want to whether the details filled by candidate is correct or not

Sir interview me language choice hoti h kya
BARC interview me koi choice nahi hoti hai.... English must be preferred but you can also speak in hindi if you are not comfortable
Try to communicate in English because agar interview panel koi person hai jisse hindi nahi aati hai thoda difficult hoga....most of them knows Hindi

For numerical you can use any standard book of gate or solve previous years question asked in Gate. But don't just focus on answer of a question try to understand the concept of each question
