This wasn't Duel Monsters. This was D&D with cards. So glad battle city more or less adopted the rules put in place for the real life Yu-Gi-Oh TCG.

Duel Details: Yugi VS Weevil (Duelist Kingdom)
Both players will start with 2000 LP. Also, any monsters that get a Field Power Bonus will be mentioned.
The field this duel takes place on is comprised of 50% Wasteland and 50% Forest. Any appropriate monsters suited for those environments will have their ATK/DEF boosted by 30% of its original value.
Turn 1: Weevil summons Killer Needle (ATK/1200 DEF/1000) in attack position in the Forest Area. Due to the FPB, Killer Needle's ATK/DEF is boosted by 30% (ATK/1560 DEF/1300).
Turn 2: Yugi summons Mammoth Graveyard (ATK/1200 DEF/800) in attack position in the Wasteland Area. Due to the FPB, Mammoth Graveyard's ATK/DEF is boosted by 30% (ATK/1560 DEF/1040). Mammoth Graveyard attacks Killer Needle and is seemingly destroyed, until Killer Needle, too, is destroyed. The attack resulted in a double KO, since both monsters had the same ATK, FPB and all.
Turn 3: Weevil summons Hercules Beetle (ATK/1500 DEF/2000) in the Forest Area. Due to the FPB, Hercules Beetle's ATK/DEF is boosted by 30% (ATK/1950 DEF/2600).
Turn 4: Yugi summons Feral Imp (ATK/1300 DEF/1400) and subsequently activates Horn of the Unicorn, equipping it onto Feral Imp and raising its ATK by 700 (ATK/2000 DEF/1400). Feral Imp attacks Hercules Beetle, but the attack ultimately fails, since all monsters who receive a FPB are immune to all magic attacks, including those aided by spell cards. Feral Imp and Horn of the Unicorn are destroyed (Yugi LP 2000 → 1350).
Turn 5: Weevil passes his turn.
Turn 6: Yugi sets a monster.
Turn 7: Weevil summons Basic Insect (ATK/500 DEF/700) in attack position in the Forest Area. Due to the FPB, Basic Insect's ATK/DEF are boosted by 30% (ATK/650 DEF/910). Weevil then equips Laser Cannon LV3 and Power Boost LV2 onto Basic Insect (ATK/2150 DEF/1410). Basic Insect attacks Yugi's set monster (revealed to be Griffore (ATK/1200 DEF/1500)) and destroys it.
Turn 8: Yugi sets a monster (later revealed to be Torike (ATK/1200 DEF/600)).
Turn 9: Weevil sets a card.
Turn 10: Yugi sets a card.
Turn 11: Weevil summons Gokibore (ATK/1200 DEF/1400) in attack position in the Forest Area. Due to the FPB, Gokibore's ATK/DEF are boosted by 30% (ATK/1560 DEF/1820).
Turn 12: Yugi passes his turn.
Turn 13: Weevil summons Big Insect (ATK/1200 DEF/1500) in attack position in the Forest Area. Due to the FPB, Big Insect's ATK/DEF are boosted by 30% (ATK/1560 DEF/1950).
Turn 14: Yugi passes his turn.
Turn 15: Weevil summons Kamakiriman (ATK/1150 DEF/1400) in attack position in the Forest Area. Due to the FPB, Kamakiriman's ATK/DEF are boosted by 30% (ATK/1495 DEF/1820).
Turn 16: Yugi draws Dark Magician (ATK/2500 DEF/2100) and sets it.
Turn 17: Basic Insect attacks Dark Magician, but Yugi activates Mirror Force, which reflects Basic Insect's attack to all monsters on Weevil's field and destroys them (Weevil LP 2000 → 555). Weevil sets a monster (revealed to be Larvae Moth (ATK/500 DEF/400)).
Turn 18: Yugi activates Monster Recovery, calling the monsters Yugi has on the field (Dark Magician and Torike) back to his hand, shuffles his hand into his deck, and draws 5 new cards. He then summons Kuriboh. Kuriboh attacks, and Weevil is forced to activate Parasite Worm, which destroys all monsters on Yugi's field and inflicts damage equal to their combined ATK (Yugi LP 1350 → 1050).
Turn 19: Weevil flip summons Larvae Moth in the Forest Area. Due to the FPB, Larvae Moth's ATK/DEF gets boosted by 30% (ATK/650 DEF/520). Weevil then summons Cocoon of Evolution (ATK/0 DEF/2000) and equips it onto Larvae Moth, thus applying its ATK/DEF to Larvae Moth. Due to the Field Power Bonus, Cocoon of Evolution's DEF gets boosted by 30% (ATK/0 DEF/2600).
Turn 20: Yugi summons Gaia the Fierce Knight (ATK/2300 DEF/2100) in attack position. Gaia attacks Larvae Moth/Cocoon of Evolution, but the attack fails (Yugi LP 1050 → 750).
Turn 21: Weevil passes his turn.
Turn 22: Yugi draws Beaver Warrior (ATK/1200 DEF/1500) and sets it.
Turn 23: Weevil passes his turn.
Turn 24: Yugi passes his turn.
Turn 25: Weevil passes his turn.
Turn 26: Yugi summons Curse of Dragon (ATK/2000 DEF/1500) in attack position. He then activates Burning Land, which destroys the Forest Area, thus nullifying the FPB that Larvae Moth/Cocoon of Evolution had (ATK/0 DEF/2000). Gaia attacks Larvae Moth/Cocoon of Evolution and destroys it, but Great Moth (ATK/2600 DEF/2500) has been summoned in its place. Note that the FPB for Weevil's Insect-types is still nullified, so Great Moth's ATK/DEF do not get boosted by 30%.
Turn 27: Weevil orders Great Moth to take flight, which means only airborne monsters are allowed to battle it.
Turn 28: Yugi activates Polymerization, fusing Gaia and Curse of Dragon to form Gaia the Dragon Champion (ATK/2600 DEF/2100).
Turn 29: Great Moth attacks all land-bound monsters on Yugi's field, destroying Beaver Warrior and filling the air with poison in the process. This causes Gaia to lose ATK (ATK/1900 DEF/2100).
Turn 30: Yugi activates Makiu, the Magical Mist, which neutralizes Great Moth's poison.
Turn 31: Great Moth attacks and destroys Gaia (Yugi LP 750 → 50).
Turn 32: Yugi summons Summoned Skull (ATK/2500 DEF/1200) in attack position. Since Makiu is still in effect, everything, including the field, has been drowned out in water. This boosts Summoned Skull's ATK by 40% (ATK/3500 DEF/1200). Summoned Skull attacks and destroys Great Moth (Weevil LP 555 → 0).
    Yugi wins.
