When I first saw this performance from Sohyang - and it's the intro of Sohyang to me - I ended up watch this performance over and over, and sought out all the reactions on the web on this performance. When all is said and done, I spent 7 hours straight on this performance of hers that day and became a bonafide fan. This performance to date remains my favorite Sohyang stage, notwithstanding all her other extraordinary performances for the emotional punch it delivers. Look forward to your next reaction.

This TV Show "Immortal Songs" has a subject at each episode. The singers have to choose their song related to the subject. Most of the time, the subject could be the legendary singer. But the subject in this episode was "Old Pop songs that Koreans have loved. That's why So hyang performed this one. By the way, I am always enjoying your Video. Thanks!

Can any bilingual speakers compare the original English lyrics to the Korean for me? I’m curious about it cuz the lyrics are mostly very literal, except idioms like “down and out.” Obviously her performance carries the emotion because I got tears. It’s a testament to both Sohyang’s voice and Simon’s writing that this song can be performed in so many different ways and it will always make me weep
