Magicians have a competition every year where the best magicians from all over the world compete. One year, he won first place in the close-up magic competition. Johnny 'Ace' Palmer is one of the all-time greats of magic.

A few years ago I had a magic teacher that taught me one on one. My mentor has the same upbeat personality as Johnny Ace Palmer. These videos of the astonishing Johnny Ace Palmer are a true inspiration for me to keep up with my magic.
I'm not sure if my former magic teacher will come across this exact video, if so I'd like to say Thank-you for your teachings and your knowledge you taught me.

Haha! He says about putting a card on the roof with all their signatures and then the camera zooms out and you can see that he does it to everyone! Awesome stuff. He's a master at sleight of hand. I do love how he acts, it's perfect for the craft but I prefer the more dark and mysterious illusionists. Gives it more edge, in my opinion. Still though, Johnny Ace Palmer is one of the greats.

The falling-up coin is him pinching the coin with his palm and thumb muscle and then releasing the tension. I’ve watched so many of this guy’s performances and it’s unmistakable and completely authentic that he can flick the coin vertically using only the skin of his palm. Incredible. I’ve watched several of his videos where he does itBut the folded & written on card ending up in his shoe is literally going to keep me up tonight. I am just starting to get into this stuff and trying to learn about the basics. This guy is SO good. He also seems like a very sweet and charismatic guy too. He has a nice way about him.
