Phenomenal Work Nick and great quality Recordings. I write and play professionally in all different genres. But it's nice to discover these tracks you did to just sit back and play along and Improvise. Always so much fun to do. Your work is authentic and nice and spicy. Thank you so much and keep up the great work. I would love to hear some of your published originals. You are very talented and quite Passionate which shows.
@@NickNeblo Awesome. I sure will Nick. If your interested, I have about 25 years of published originals on iTunes under Sean Damon all different genres too. My website is www.seandamon.com and verified Facebook is facebook.com/SeanDamon
Hola Nick! Gracias por tomarte el tiempo de publicar tus backing tracks. Los practico mucho. Te cuento que tocaré sobre éste backing track en público en un bar. Un saludo.
I use a DAW, but most parts are recorded, I play bass, guitars, some drums are loops some other are samples and so on, I use different techniques depending on the track
Hey Nick, Wanted to tell how much I love your Jam Tracks..I run over almost all of them at least twice a week and my playing is getting better and better..keep em' coming and I'll be playing along with them.
Hey Nick, me and a friend (he plays cello) made a video in which we improvised over a chord progression (which was the same chord progression as in one of your earlier rumba-backingtracks) so I thought that you might want to see this "Nick-inspired" video :) PS: Its the latest video on my friends channel: "SWProductions"
ill try phrygian scale with Em and Am. for the B7 there can be used the mixolidian scale but i prefer the so called "spanish gipsy scale", which is a phrygian with a major third, or we can call it phrygian dominant too. it has the major third and minor seventh that the B7 chord has. so it will sound "better". if you keep a minor scale during all the chords then try to avoid the minor third in the B7 chord because it will sound "dissonant" as you are playing third minor over a major third. same happens with sevenths. play the one which is being played by the chord
To put it simply, use E minor scale over Em and Am and E harmonic minor (which is also known as B phrygian dominant, it just changes the root note) over B7 (you simply substitute the note D with D#. Job done. Then if you want you can also use other chromatic variations, but that's more advanced, but worth trying.
hi, thank you very much. it depends on the track. I combine different techniques, sample by sample, midi sequence, loops and new recordings. I usually build up different tracks for drums, this one for example has a track for the bass drum, another for hihats I created in midi, a loop of cajon I recorded myself, a loop of claps made with another plugin, there's also a loop of conga somewhere, etc. I then sequence them how I prefer. I usually save and database the loops that come out with a nice groove so I can use them again for other tracks mixing them other drums.
A good lyricist can write a fantastic song on these chords. Superb strumming.
Another of my all time favorite tracks to jam to - superb! Thank you, Nick!
Thank very much Mr. Nick this is great.

What's the name of this strumming technique if you don't mind me asking?

Hello Nick, very good Jam Tracks! Can I ask you how do you record a drums/beats ?
hi, thank you very much. it depends on the track. I combine different techniques, sample by sample, midi sequence, loops and new recordings.
