This video takes you on an unforgettable cruise around the beautiful French-Dutch island of Saint-Martin/Sint Maarten. Arriving on the Dutch side in Philipsburg aboard the MSC Seaside during our Caribbean cruise, we booked a speed boat excursion with Captain Bob to discover the island's natural treasures and snorkel.
After leaving the marina in Dock Maarten, we sailed along Simpson Bay, the immense Caribbean lagoon. Crossing the border, we circumnavigate the famous Marigot and its pretty bays such as Happy Bay, Friar's Bay and Grand Case.
Our first stop is Tintamarre Island, an uninhabited French nature reserve accessible only by boat. Here, we dive to swim alongside majestic sea turtles and rays. We only saw one turtle when we arrived, but not while we were snorkeling.
We then set course for Pinel Island for lunch next to this sublime beach paradise.
Back at sea, we stop off at Creole Rock, a snorkeling spot.

Finally, we end the day with a spectacle: watching from the sea as planes land on the famous Princess Juliana airport runway!
