Marlon is just as charming and forthright as I imagined him to be. Thanks for posting this wide-ranging and illuminating interview on his creative process and perspective. Massive compliments to the knowledgeable and perceptive interviewer as well. His intelligent questions, respectful listening, and deft follow-up were pure pleasure.
I'm totally in love with the new album. I'm normally more of a metalhead but Marlon instantly became one of my favourite musicians about 2 1/2 years ago when my mother introduced me to his music.
I knew it'd be a great interview as soon as he actually thought about his answer to "how are you?" (and not go for the usual polite answer). Also, I somehow love the fact that you can see the natural light changing from time to time. Anyway, great video, thank you!
Love this album he’s crossed so many genres …. I’m pretty new to Marlon’s work but I think this album can reach everyone…. I challenge anyone to not feel changed in someway but hearing it … he seems a beautifully humble man too …
Thanks Marlon for giving us a bit of background about Nina. The video had me daydreaming and musing for days about trenchcoat man and the beautiful woman who's always one step ahead of his twitchy, broody little fingers.

Thanks so much for your kind words. And you're right, Marlon was such a genuine and kind person to talk to :)

That was a good interview. I saw Marlon last week in Hobart, he was amazing, the best live performance I have ever witnessed.
