- Since Halloween is just around the corner, I decided to hunt a spooky legendary, Giratina. Shiny Giratina is a great shiny in my opinion. This was an off stream hunt. Phew thought we had to do some trading or somewhat purchasing now I know that I can get shiny legends on raid battles
Still working to get mine I don't count how many tries but probably like 50 so far. I'm not going to give up. Giratina is my favorite legendary and I'm determined. As long as I keep trying I will get

i started hunting for him yesterday for BDSP and i was scared I wasn’t gonna get it in time, I ended up getting him 2nd raid!

GG bro , I’m trying to hunt it without a charm because I don’t have anyone to trade the version exclusives with and because I can’t be bothered , and I can’t even kill and catch it most of the time so I actually am genuinely happy for you!

if you have no one to trade with, just get pokemon home on your switch and on mobile and use the GTS.

I've caught about 25 so far, fought more of course cause he's killed me a few times. But no luck so far 😭
Keep trying, itll happen eventually! What I do is avoid catching anything I don't need or want. If you can find a great counter at the beginning of the raid adventures, keep it so you don't get a shiny you don't want.

@@joebastianich3410 it does save time but my plan in raid adventures is to catch the mons necessary to beat the legendary. If I got a good rental one from the start, I don’t really catch any of the other mons

Where do you get the shiny charm???
head to Circhester. Enter the west door of Hotel Ionia, go up the elevator, then enter the room on the far left. The dude will give it to you once the dex is complete!
nice, my switch has a tend for the cursor to go down rapidly, I caught a shiny giratina and that happened. and ended up getting a araquanid.
dang, that sounds really unfortunate. Hopefully it doesn't happen again when you find a shiny legendary!

The sad thing is my friend has done 400 raid girateena and not 1 shiny

@@bralexrivera yes he has he spent 2 hours just to get the shiny charm but hasn’t earned him one shiny till this day ps my friend does roughly 5 raids a day so it’s kinda sad
Any tips for fighting giratina?
I really liked using Aurorus cause it has t-wave ice body slam. I got hit with dragon moves often so fairy types are good too (grimsnarl). Galarian linoone/obstagoon is nice cause of the normal type being immune to ghosts. What i really prioritize is having a mon with sleep or para cause the extra turns are nice. I probably beat him 4 out of 5 times using this strategy

Make a new account then play till you get the shiny charm which is near the ice gym then you shiny hunt the giratina
I'm on 45re so far 😭 losing hope...
Have you found any other shinies along the way? either way, it will happen eventually! No hope losing allowed
@@bralexrivera so far for giratina no. I have yet to phase during this hunt and that's what's making it tedious.

i lost count of where im at this is still my first shiny hunt in dynamax adventures i have the shiny charm and its still been 3 months
how is body slam super effective on a ghost type
Aurorus ability is refrigerate which turns normal type moves into ice type moves. That's why it's super effective!
