I absolutely love this song. I heard it this year at the Hampton Ministers Conference in our music packet. The conductor Omar Dickenson added the chorus to "At The Cross" in accapella and then came back to the refrain toggle between the acapella At the Cross and the refrain. It is powerful. The story of the Death and Resurrection in song. Everytime I hear this I weep for joy know the cost our savior paid for us, at the cross! Hallelujah
I pastor a 1 year old church in the Philippines of about 100 people. We have no 'worship team' yet, so we use RUclips videos to lead worship. It works great, because we can really focus on powerful lyrics like these when we don't see musicians (I'm a drummer, so I always want to watch drummers). :) This song will be an excellent addition to our list. Such a beautiful song both words and music are so lifting. We sang this yesterday (Easter Sunday) at the mission I attend, it was so moving I felt the roof was being raised by our voices. Who can fail to be moved by this and what He did for us, thank you Lord Jesus.
