It mostly has to do with the fact that most of the turbocharged cars currently have the exhaust manifold casted/integrated with the turbo charger, whereas other cars that have a distinct exhaust manifold and then a turbo that bolts on separately have a much meaner sound.
This car sounds plenty good... But if you want to complain about everything in life be my guest. If you're always complaining about how it doesn't sound as good as it could you won't be happy with a car even if it's a good car.
It is because the law is gettin harder and harder on the cars in the 90 they didn't have the sane rules that thwy have now that's why you don't see even so much V12 around like you used to

I have this exhaust installed on my GTI and it definitely does NOT sound stock in real life - it has deep bass notes and sounds really nice, much sportier. The difference is night and day. A lot has obviously been lost with the microphone recording.

Does the non-resonated version come with the front silencer or is it just straight-through pipe from the cat to the rear tips? In terms of emissions, is there any concern in using the non-resonated exhaust?
This video doesn’t do the actual tone justice. In real life the catback sound is lower and fuller. Somewhere in between this video and the other Remus video. More towards the other one but not quite as deep. It sounds really good though. One note, US cars won’t have the crackle.
Quad tips were unnecessary and adding the new diffuser just adds to the cost where none should have been in the first place...two tips were just fine and then each could've been bigger...silly remus
