Yes your comment was on point ! BUT 1 other person who does it just like him if not better. Shows you everything all drawers, cabinets, buttons, lights, every individual thing. With no jokes :( 1 downside but her name Is "Princess Craft " she's Good 👍 !!
I had one I put 190K miles on. No problems. It was a 4 stroke diesel. -40 insulation. Best small one you can buy.
Chinook is a well respected brand. The Triton V10 engine will last over 300k miles easily. Feature for feature the Chinook does everything that the $130k class B Sprinter particle board crap can do but is one of the only RV’s that can retain their value.
I assume many of the people saying way overpriced do not know that what this class of RV sells for new, 115 to 150 and even up much more for the highest priced like Airstream. I also guessing he would take something less but have to start somewhere. Also I find it extremely unlikely it came with Solar in 1998 although it likely does not have a lot of solar power saved in the batteries shown...

Victor you caught me. Were you watching the security cameras? It was only once I swear. It was Black Friday and everyone else took the day off, so I was the only one at work that day. I had some chicken 🍗 for lunch and for some reason there was a beer in the break room fridge, so I drank it. The clean up guys probably found it under a couch in one of the RVs. It was probably like 5 years old. Maybe that’s why it tasted funny 🤔. I’m not sure what’s worse; the fact that I had a 🍺 at work or the fact that I was drinking alone!?!?

Yes it is almost 22 years old, but it is probably around $80,000 cheaper than a new one. And the new one won’t be built as well....

Do RV AC units work well or is it like throwing an ice cube in a frying pan? I've only camped twice in my life and it was in the fall.
They work pretty well especially in these smaller motorhomes. We take them camping fairly regularly before they hit the lot so we're RVers ourselves - it's not going to keep cool like your house and the AC may run pretty much constantly on a very hot day, but it will certainly keep it much cooler and more comfortable inside. Let's just say us Kuhn men are all big, sweaty fellas and we really prefer to have an AC in the hot months if you're planning on being in the RV much during the daytime hours. With that being said, that fantastic fan in many RVs (typically available as an upgrade if not) does a great job acting like an attic fan when it cools off at night -- just open the windows and turn that on and it'll cool down to outside temp pretty quick, so once the sun goes down that can be an alternative if you don't have AC. I’ve found my preferred style rig!! This looks sporty & just appears to be well built😍 how hard is it to replace the carpeting with hardwood? Would I have to remove everything? Also, If like to paint the wood whit & add different hardware. How does the oak stand up to white paint? Is it advisable? Have you seen anyone remodel one of the older ones?
Vinyl flooring would probably be easier than wood if your just wanting a hard surface that’s easier to keep clean.
You don’t necessarily have to remove everything but you will get a better fit if you do.
You can paint the oak white. You’ll just want to give it a good sanding or use a stripper on it before you paint it to take the clear coat off so your paint sticks well.
I’ll be posting another one next week that we replaced the carpet in and put a piece of vinyl in the back by the entry door.
Is there storage under the dinette seats? How long is it?
The front most dinette seat has the furnace in there. The back dinette seat has storage. It is 21.5 feet long.

That’s the way Chinook built them and I’m sure they did their homework. I’ve never heard of anyone having any issues.

How often do you have to charge the batteries and how long do they last for till you need to charge them again. Just curious.
John it all depends on how much stuff you’re using inside the coach. It could range from a few hours to a few days.
Chinooks were quality, I just don’t like the back door. This is in amazing shape for its age.

That's perfect for just me. Price is steep tho. Just one question...if I did get it to live in it, I'd have to decorate it...is it feasible to paint or wallpaper? I don't know what kind of material the ceilings and walls are made of. Recovering seats are no problem but grey/white is not me.
Yes, you could do either. We’ve had units come through that have had both paint and wallpaper done by previous owners. The ceiling would not be an easy job to replace. It’s almost like a white carpet material on the ceiling. I suppose you could try wiping a dye onto it to try and dye it. Depending on your skill level you could recover the seats yourself or have an upholstery shop do it. If you’d like to make an offer or discuss the price give us a call 419-899-2020. The hitch is tucked under the step. The step folds up when you’re traveling.

Hey just a question. Is Chevy a better pick for motor home? I've been interested in motorhome and was wondering which is better. A Ford or Chevy. I like Chevy because a family member have a trailblazer and Camero and they're pretty sweet to drive.
If you polled 100 different people on this you’d get 100 different answers. Go with the one that you like and feel comfortable with. They’re both solid drive trains.

It is a nice rig but it is way overpriced.
The bathroom is not a one-piece fiberglass surround it is a multiple piece fiberglass wet bath.
It’s a 2 piece shower.
