Everyone that has made a snide remark is showing your bad side. These two people are doing something none of you will or can do and that is, be kind and put the others ahead of yourself.
As for myself, I admire you and wish I could still do what your doing. It gives you a feeling like non other.😊
It's called "paying it forward". There are several lawn care operators that volunteer one day a week or month to go out and help somebody on need with their lawn care. Somehow it seems these people's businesses are really thriving....maybe karma?

Yes are pressure washing also. Never knew about it being done free as paying it forward these 2 are first that I knew of it just popped up and like them the most. It's relaxing for some reason.
@@shelleyharris4176 they work together so harmoniously, with 'a good will'. It is a pleasure to see, even the way they split up the tasks at hand, but join up for 'four-hand' jobs.

I don't know where these places are but some are lovely areas all those woods and open spaces would be a bit creepy at night if you was watching a horror flick.

I don’t think they were ripping her off that’s a lot of work people just don’t want to pay .Sounds like she got quite a few estimates and just didn’t want to pay, people have to make a living.
I agree. People not charging enough will not be able to stay in business or either they don't pay for the all the required licenses/insurance/taxes/etc that a legit business should carry.

This is outstanding work! After seeing how many acres were involved for clean up, the quotes that this lady got prior were way to low for the labor and dispensing of debris landfill costs. I would feel quilty accepting this job free at no cost to myself. This was a mammoth undertaking for only two people without the use of larger commercial equipment and more crew. I hope, in the end, you were highly compensated. There are not enough words big enough to thank you both. Love

Probably what is commonly called "fox grapes". They are small and it takes a LOT of them just to make one pint jar of jelly or jam. If left uncontrolled they can do as much damage as kudzu.

I just love your videos! You guys do an outstanding job! I am surprised that you guys don't have a pitchfork or two in your truck. It would definitely help in picking up all that grass, vines and branches of all sorts that you trim.
I feel for the lady. It's hard for us elderly and disabled folks to get things done. So many scammers out there to be wary of. But if it's reached the point where she can't afford the upkeep of her home and property it may be time to sell and move into a retirement community. It's a shame she doesn't have any younger relatives to help her out. My family have all deserted me so I'm blessed to have a husband to care for me and is able to keep our home and yard done. Bless you all for all you do for people! I get such a kick out of you and your son. Great personalities!

It doesn't matter what they want to charge. If you are living on a fixed income with just Social Security, you have to watch every dime you spend.

you two are thorough and detailed. seems you are not charging anywhere what you deserve. with gas prices, i don’t know how you do it. i’m in oxford, just outside The Villages. my lot is about 3400 sf. just raised price again to $63 per month. sorry to say you might be too nice or in a bad area. you deserve way more. please take care of yourselves!

that was a huge yard and was a LOT of work, and the prices she was quoted by others, is about par for the course,,, why I struggle to do my own yard. As usual great job well done.
After watching this video, I had to go back to hear the quotes this lady got for the work from others. I think I heard $300 for the driveway from one quote and $150 from the other quote. These were very reasonable quotes based on the work involved! That "driveway" is like a stretch of road that a city would have to hire a crew to clear. All this to say you two did an EXCELLENT job!

From doing years of this kind of work,my advise is use a machete first,then use all the other tools.
