Hello Daisuke & son! I always think of MGM as well as DiCaprio when I see Leo 🦁🚢👑🌎. Thank you for another livestream. So much cinematic energy gets conjured during these discussions that I am very grateful for. I was unable to watch much this past weekend but I am still thinking a lot about my recent Godfather Part III re-watch in anticipation of my first-time Coda viewing this week. I gifted the Godfather DVD set I mistakenly ordered some months back to my nephew over the weekend and I really hope he watches those films. It will help me greatly to have someone to discuss those films with and I just feel really optimistic by introducing someone to those movies. My sister and her kids have finally moved from where they were living to back here in our hometown which makes me so very happy. I had the great fortune of spending time with them this weekend where a lot of movies/shows were discussed for fun. My sister brought up some childhood favorites, Father of the Bride part 1 & 2 while playing the version of "The Way You Look Tonight" and it brought back some great memories and some powerful emotions I have towards those films. I played the song "As Time Goes By" yesterday and now am I seeing the 4K release of Casablanca behind you?? It is still my greatest wish that you and your family are able to have dinner at that mind-blowingly great Mexican restaurant up the road from you in Santa Monica called Casablanca. I'm dying to hear your thoughts. Please share if you decide to re-watch Prometheus because I have heard the criticisms of that film and Covenant but my somewhat recent re-watches didn't disappoint me too much at all. In fact, I would have liked a Ridley Scott sequel to Covenant! Can't wait for Gladiator II! My sister and I are huge Peaky Blinders and 28 Days later fans and there is some big news in the world of both that we are thrilled about. Soon I will be forcing everyone to watch my new copy of Sorcerer when we have time together because I know it will enhance everyone's life to see it. So much more to want to talk about but thank you again for more comments on Jujutsu Kaisen and Perfect Days. I try my best to take mental notes of what all gets mentioned on your channel to look out for in the future. Currently I am engaged with the new documentary on (HBO) Max called Chimp Crazy and have started for the first time ever to get into the reality show called Big Brother. I aim to work on the Chantal Akerman set this week and also your Coda commentary. Looking forward to hearing from you again, my friend. I am daydreaming a lot recently about visiting California again with my sister in tow because I had so much fun there last November and just know she would love to see it too.
