I noticed this earlier this week. The new profile icon on the item that is being edited is a really nifty feature. I'm excited to see what's next on the roadmap.
@@ShanesCows Todays project.... Just came up with this. Create a list that has a 1 to many relationship with my Employees list. Call it AppSettings. Then store user preferences for things like last 5 clients they had open (so they show in tabs upon entering the app) Maybe add in User theme settings. IDK, but I'm doing it because it sounds fun!
We tried it today on one of our apps and found it can desync quite a bit sometimes. We also found that it doesnt render some items correctly for 1 user to the other. The search bar we have has "stretch" for height in the container. But it renders at like 600px for the other user and is ignoring the stretch until you do a +1 or add a space to the formula for height in the powerfx bar.
Thanks for taking a deeper look at this Shane. I just might give this a go on a copy of an existing app tomorrow!
Let me know what you find. I am very curious.

Me too, me too. Hopefully they also continue to refine features like this, that have a lot of potential.

In Power Apps version 3.24064.18 Coauthoring is in Preview section (not Experimental)
Nice. Very cool. Thanks for sharing
@@ShanesCows now it's back Experimental. Someone in Microsoft drank too much 😂
How does this feature handle clashing changes? You add control; your coauthor renames it. You name it back. Last change wins?
Yes, last change wins. Though in my practice I had a hard time having any conflicts because the updates happen so fast.
Waiting for this
Lots of people have been, try it out and let us know how it goes. 🤩
@@ShanesCows sure Shane and thanks for bringing this
Looks good on first impressions.... just a bit like Word but yes, we'll have to wait till it get into Preview but thanks for sharing.
Someone told me today they are seeing it in preview
@@ShanesCows Nice. Will check it out then, if it's in the Europe region, that is.
Thats great 🎉
Yeah, it is exciting for sure 🥳
when I try to do same coauthoring feature is not showing why?
It is still rolling out worldwide but you should have it very soon.
@@ShanesCows ok. thank you
