Hi Shane, as usual great video ;-), for HTML encoding as you mention it's really handy for the API where you need to pass information, here's a scenario where I'm using it to generate a QR code for a business card using the office365 connector and you probably know that a VCF card as a lot of information and it needs to be encoded to be usable by the API
Brilliant! The table function update is amazing, the ability to add items to drop down lists or choices - could even use an add record as a type of header. so many options now available. Thank you for highlighting this Shane
The table part looks like a way to join small tables on the front end instead of the backend. That can come in pretty handy. That’s not the only I like, but that’s a big deal! Thanks for sharing Shane!
Thanks a million for making us aware of these changes. Wow! the Table one is really good to know but the JSON and the others are also good to be aware of. Appreciated
Hi Shane, suddenly the images stored in sharepoint list is not showing in PowerApps using Absolute url... do we need to make change using encode url to fix this. your thoughts on this will be very helpful
Hello Shane. I’ve been trying to do that with a ComboBox, so that an additional record with All is displayed. But it’s not working. What do I need to do differently than with a dropdown?”
If we use table function and combine two different datasources, then how to perform other operations on gallery items like filter, search or pagination?
Hey legend... Thank God you post videos like this... Keep it up buddy... I open my testing app and type Table('Sharepoint_List1', 'Sharepoint_List2') but they weren't merged. The output is giving me a table with 2 table records when it should give me a merged table... Any idea Shane?
@@ShanesCows nevermind Shane haha... I had the data row limit at 1 to make sure I don't have delegation issues so it was only giving me 1 record for each table 😅😅😅😅😅😅 so the Table() function has delegation limitation... Many thanks legend...
The table function update is a simple but MASSIVE change. Thanks a lot for the video Shane
I agree. Happy to help.
I am most excited about the Table function and being able to quickly spin up an "All" option for my drop downs.
That does seem to be the big slam dunk for everyone. 😀

I've got so many apps running "ALL" lists, with complicated filters on reporting and various process steps... Huge win!
I agree, I got super excited when I realized that was the big win with that function.

Happy to help. Have a great day. 🐶
What are we supposed to do with all the loops we have had to jump through to add "ALL" to combo boxes?
Donate them to charity for the tax write off before they expire? 🤣
"Jason...like that killer movie thing..."😆 Great intro to the new Table function, Shane!
I was in a weird mood with all of my random comments. 🤣

You are welcome. I think your explanation is spot on and it is very helpful.
Very timely. One of my students was working on this last night and got stuck using the collections approach. Shared this with him this morning.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Shane. The table function update is my favorite
Mine too, opens a lot of doors.
There's 1 life changing event today, and it's this video, not the eclipse.
Do you come out and fight crime during the eclipse since it will be dark? 🤣
Thanks
I appreciate the support Paul! 🤩🐶

My pleasure!
Thanks Shane! Now I am busy making dropdown items more sleek and performant!
Perfect! Love it 🤩
Great news, I've tried this table marge stuff several times but I was never happy with the results.
Thanks for sharing!

I needed this video last week 😭 but thank you so much for sharing this info!
Sorry I am slow. 🤩
Nice with the table function. Thanks for the update 😊😊
You bet Frank!

I just did a test and they are working for me. Maybe spin up a new app and test, see if you can find your issue.
NOOICE! 😀😀👍👍 ...also, FIRST!!
You will always be 🥇 for me
Hey Shane, I could not make the Table() function to merge my tables, mind to give me a hand? any documentation where I can understand the function
Here is the Microsoft documentation. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/power-fx/reference/function-table Hopefully it helps.
Yup. Great video Shane. ❤ Thank yo.
Happy to help, have a great day!
Great video shane!! encode base64 would be more useful then encode html LoL
Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome 🤩

Did you ever get this answered??

It doesn't merge the rows of data. Just puts all of the rows from both tables into one table. Is that maybe the confusion?

@@ShanesCowstable(table1,table2,table3) dont work for me
they need to introduce "for" loop in powerapps...
I would love that. In the meantime I have our special way we do it ruclips.net/video/YhUzkrWOfro/видео.html
Yeah we need a lambda kind thing
….and now we have a CB penguin 🐧 in our app.
I love this! One of my kids love penguins so they always me smile.
Wow. The most awaited, Table function and the All. That's All I wanted 😉. Thanks Shane 🪟. ❤
You are welcome. It was a pretty awesome surprise.
