In the Pantheon also you can see the graves of the Kings of Italy (Savoia’s Family) and the grave of the famous painter Raffaello Sanzio.

When we went to Rome in April 2018 both the coliseum and fountain were so crowded. So amazing and beautiful to see all the buildings

"Why is there always construction" - Well it's 2000 years old...it has to be constantly renovated and repaired.

The colosseum is so amazing. I went last summer. I just wish i had not gone when it was so hot so that I could have appreciated it more!

If you are a fanatic on Roman structures and history, you can take one of those private tours that will give you access to ALL levels of the Colosseum. The regular tickets restrict you to only certain level(s).

You could have just gone next door to the Roman Forum, waited 5 minutes to buy your ticket there and then walked straight into the Colosseum.

Gives me a few memories, I loved the Colosseum. You were lucky, when I went to Rome the Trevi fountain was being renovated 😒

Pantheon is not Greek...you're thinking of the Parthenon I think...? Lol. And I would have highly suggested checking out the Roman Forum. Such an amazing experience. Plus you could have seen Caesar's grave in there.
