Work don’t stop right lol. I wasn’t sure I’d keep watching vlog style videos of yours but I keep coming back. Keep up the good work we appreciate all the insight. Edit: PLUMBERS wrapped the PLUMBERS TAPE the WRONG WAY?!? My goodness !!!
I feel you man. I used to work at a Hilton property and the builders were putting in a new mirror and hit a water line. The water went right down into the maintenance office.
those units should have a slide out filter built into the cover when you showed it cleaned and put back on it looks like you have a filter holder . if the filter is cleaned weekly the coil should not look like it did . when ever i rent a room the first thing i do is clean the filter and if need by the coil with coil cleaner and put the cover back on. house keeping will never rember to clean the filter so maintenance is stuck doing it
@@zoomavlogs i do them with a soft brush works well but doing it with a shop vac with a soft touch works as well you do a fine job with what your given that is for sure
@@zoomavlogs i stayed at one of your company's hotels and was told the same thing go in my room pull the filter out its covered with 1/2 in thick dust totally covered i looked at the manager and said you call this cleaned he said ill have to look in to it someone didn't do his or her job never did find out how that worked out:) but i cleaned it for him on the spot and the coil as well he offered me a job but the pay and benefits at the time did not match what i have now at my present some day if i stay at your hotel ill get to meet you we can swap stories you do a very good job that you can see
Great job with those coils. However, I was curious as to what the filters looked like? From the looks of things, it doesn't look like the filters were doing a good job of protecting those coils. Were they installed improperly or something?🤔
no its filters not being cleaned weekly as they are supposed to be and its in the book that come with them but most maintenance men are so busy they don't have time to clean every unit every week and house keeping do it yea right
Almost same ordeal in my new property still being constructed. It's GC that cheaped out on the bids. Now we got problems with plumbing hvac electric carpentry and painting. They took the cheapest route
Yeah, unfortunately you guys are dealing with the same signature issues that maintenance techs in new construction properties go through. A friend of mind was sent from our apartment complex to supervise the maintenance at a newly constructed property. He laughed about how he was leaving us with the old nuisance stuff and bragged about how he was going to be laid back with nothing to do. Long story short. He ended up encountering everything from floods from poorly soldered supply lines to fire alarms and sprinklers constantly going off. His flood extraction guy and the fire department practically lived at his complex. It actually took about two years for that mayhem dust to settle. Great vid my friend. Thanks for sharing.👌
If reno contractors had employees who were trained and performed professionally , the reno would cost too much. The fallout for the local team to fix incorrectly done stuff seems to be an accepted cost. Its the guests who have a questionable stay and perhaps dont come back or leave bad reviews on the various sites (or word of mouth to friends etc) that is the hidden cost. I know your pain. Hang in there.
Cheap labor from the day labor place. Been on the cleanup after the reno guys leave more than I want to remember. Lights falling of the ceilings, Undermount sinks in baths falling, Lots of plumbing issues, new carpet cut to short, ect, ect, ect.
Same happened to me property I work for just opened a new hotel that was renovated. Whole bunch of issues loose faucets, door seals not there bunch of stupid little issues. The contractors just get paid run leaving maintenance to fix there FUCK UPS. Manager expects us to fix it.

Housekeeping cleans the slide up filters that’s why I didn’t show it. The coils are our responsibility

you should bring the P teck outside and house the fins down after the coil cleaner did its work.
