- Voices of the Forest: Spider Monkey and Human Coexistence in Mexico
Voices of the Forest explores the research of scientist Dr Anja Hutschenreiter, in which she records the vocalisations of spider monkeys, deep in the heart of the Mexican jungle, in order to determine whether humans and wildlife are able to co-exist. It is a conservation story that provides hope for the relationship between humans and spider monkeys in our rapidly-changing world.

Thank you. Was definitely so special to spend time with them in the wild
Thank you for your wonderful work, Roxy. The shots are vibrant and the sounds are so immersive - you could close your eyes and imagine yourself roaming through the jungle. But more importantly, this short film acts as a window into the world of animal conservation, which we can all contribute to, in our own little way. Keep it up!
Thank you! Im so glad you enjoyed it. The sounds they make really are incredible aren’t they!
Love their whinnying!

A very interesting documentary. I would think there are many mosquitoes there in the Cenotes, there were many?. 👍
Roxy 💗💗💗
Thank you so much. I am glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I got a LOT of mozzie bites!
@@RoxytheZoologist Thanks to you, and yes, your work is really enjoyable.
If you allow me to be honest, I must admit that for the first time I saw you on the program of "The Proof is Out There" and I came to look for you just for your charming beauty, but when I saw you then I realized that your great physical beauty is greatly surpassed by your talent as a zoologist and your great passion for what you do and that it is perceived that you love deeply.
For example this beautiful documentary whose script, photography and editing is on a level that goes to the sublime, it is really perceived beyond my eyes that you did it purely with your heart ... thank you for sharing your passion with the world... and well, the "mozzie bites" and other drawbacks are just part of the "color" of your passion.
Take care and be well. 😊
This was really interesting. I came to this video after seeing the film you made with the S1H. I see you are using the R5C now and was curious about the switch. Have you talked about this elsewhere?
