I totally agree. She's a v good vlogger indeed. Similar to Jessica I also wanted cultural depth during my travels in India so I lived with a local host family and travelled on local busses and trains. I vlogged it all too 😀❤️
7:58 This is Sandalwood paste, it's so refreshing, on summer season they smear sandalwood paste on Deities at Temples for lower summer heat. It's called Chandan Yatra Festival, I think it lasts for a Week.
Hi Jessica Saw your vlogs by co-incidence while scouting for some videos on life n living in Goa & found it so intriguing and so different from the rest... Seems u are so accommodating and liked the line where u said ... India has taught you what surrender is all about and whatever happens, happens for a reason.... Infact could resonate with these lines a lot... Keep doing ur good work. Sudeep
I love your videos. Started following you during Covid and You kept me sane during the pandemic. I’m happy to see you return to India. I always enjoy watching your adventurous, but mostly love your spiritualism and your connection to the people in India. Great job, Jessica.😊
I remember watching your videos during Covid19 it was so scary to see you take all the risks. So happy you were able to make it back to Goa once again! Have fun! Wear a light-cycle helmet if the other one is too heavy for your head. This could do the trick! Sorry about your GoPro!
At 8 min where dey are applying holy powder arishan it is ashirwaad (Blesses). Ofcourse they except money. But the way u reacted it humble . Lots of love for you .
Jessica, oh my God))) Thank you for this video!! I have 100% same feelings after returning to India after 3 years again!!! I just saw your video and tears came on my eyes..because so much reminisences are here..at Palolem..how we were escaping from police, how we struggled for getting water and food here..how we couldn't find where to live because mansoon season was approaching but all landlords refused in renting because were so scared..but anyhow we survived! And this place will be forever in my memory! Here I met you and I love everything that you are doing for others..people and animals both! You have so big heart! Jai ho, mangal ho! I am from Russia but also like Bharat a lot, it's a special country and will be always!! Hope to meet you again one day here, at our favorite Palolem)))
I've been living in Agonda since last 5 months, it's just awesome. The beach, mountains, jungle and backwaters.. Kind of reminds me of Arambol. There are so many hidden beautiful spots here.
Hey, I am going to India next month and I want to stay longer in one place. Maybe you can help? A beautiful beach is cool, but I am also looking for a place where there is a good vibe, with good people and a good community. What is better - Arambol or Gokarna? or maybe another beach? A large hippie community would be best :) With nice events :D But I am not interested in techno parties or anything like that, more spiritual. thank you!
@@ATAXIA424 Hey, for sure. I'm still in Agonda and it's been 1+ year for me. I used to love arambol but nowadays it's more of a party place and the vibe is not what it used to be. It's highly commercialized now and party is happening almost everywhere. I found peace here in Agonda(South Goa) and it's very beautiful. Jungles, lake, beaches and of course there are some secret view points where we go trekking, campfire. It's just magical. I suggest you Agonda or Patnem. It's peaceful and you will get to meet a lot of people who are into spirituality. My girlfriend is also a Yoga philosophy teacher.

stumbled upon your blog by chance. Pretty good content. Kindly keep in mind though, or that you are not aware as with any religious places, you should dress appropriately. In at least one monastery in Bhutan, I had to borrow a jacket as I wore mid length sleeves, other monasteries were okay with it. When I had been to Puducherry, the day I visited the temple and churches, I ensured I wore long pants, otherwise like for beach days or otherwise I was in shorts. And those people asking for alms are migrants, and the same you find who offer masseuse service haggling tourists on our beaches. And yes, I felt so terrible that you lost your GoPro, the fine was alright! I also love your considerate nature towards animals. May your tribe flourish.
