Dawn Watch: Halifax to Saint Pierre Race - 2010

Double-Handing racing onboard Cello, A Beneteau Oceanis 381 with Branko Mizerit and Mike Whitehouse. The race was 360 nautical miles which took two days in thick fog but with a steady 20 knot southwest wind which made for a fantastic ride. We were hit with a 50 knot squall near the finish which dismasted one competitor and tore our mainsail.
The organizing committee and the people of Saint Pierre were fantastic adding to the enjoyment of a wonderful race and experience.

Awesome video. Im from Debert, and getting into sailing this summer. hope to buy a Hunter Class, maybe a 290 or 306. Again nice video.
