The purpose of brow laminating is to give that fuller, feathery brow.... They’re supposed to be brushed up, not brushed to the side 😩.... That’s why you feel like you wasted your money. I’m obsessed with the look of the feathered brow (I laminate my brows regularly) and thought yours looked epic when she was finished! I’m sad you didn’t like it.... But brows are very specific to each person. At least you’ll be saving money 🤷🏻♀️ lol....

Right! They were FIRE when the girl was done. When she did the after, I was like "What happened?!? Why you brush them to the side like that?" 😫
@trishdadish82 I like it but some parts of the brow I think shouldn’t be feathered and it if it is, in my opinion it should be trimmed a bit so it can be more “straight”.
For $80, you got a pampering. Your brows look great! She did a great job!

Ok this gets me a little heated. Your brows where amazing when she finished! Fuller, thicker and more shape. You obviously like a thinner brow and that's why you brushed then back down. I don't think it's fair to make the esthetician/brows tech look like she didn't know what she was doing because She did! They were awesome! You completely undid her work and put them back to the way you had them before you went in. Brow Lamination is definitely not for you, and that's fine too.. but just say that!
It wasn’t the threading , it was the cutting the hairs that made it look “choppy” & she cut it after the lamination because, the hairs are already straighten out & long when standing up so she trimmed it so that it stays in that fluffy thick look
If you just brush it back down then, it defeats the whole purpose of laminating your brows
you made the esthetician look bad for doing a service that you wouldn’t have liked regardless of who did it... does not sit right w me
That's what I thought. Couldn't have said it better myself. There is something to be said about grace. Her lip smacking before even walking into the salon, that is, her body language, said it all. Not only that but being sneaky about filming. Her technician probably gave her the green light to film. She should have taken care of that detail before coming in.
I think you’re reaching. What do u mean “doing a service that u wouldn’t like regardless of who did it” it’s her review of her eyebrows. Did u see how gorgeous they were before the process? She’s not saying she doesn’t like them. She’s saying, for her, it didn’t change her brow look for the money she spent.
I feel like it definitely wasn't worth it for you. Only because you don't like them to look fluffy lol. Like you brushed them back down to the shape you go for. For me personally i like to fill my brows in, and show some my brow hairs. This is only after the brow lamination though.
True! I think if the shape would have been better with them brushed up I would have liked it much more but since it was ehhh I reverted back to my go to. Yours looked bomb though!

when i heard her say she tipped $5 on $75 that was all i needed to know.. she did a phenomenal job and adjusted it to her liking so that’s embarrassing to even say in a video 😮💨

It looks really nice but I feel like lamination is for people that have naturally messy brows so the change in your brows isn’t that noticeable, to me your brows were almost perfect before you entered lol
I agree! Brow lamination are for people with curly brows like me! When they start growing they be throwing gang signs lol
I got them done and from what I learned is that if your hairs are course you need to process them a little longer if not they go back to there normal growth pattern and also you need to maintain them which is brushing them up and moisturizing with castor oil
I feel like I saw a difference? At least before you went home and made them the way you wanted. They definitely looked fuller and fluffier before you brushed them down. I think they match your face either way though

I think brow lamination would be a better fit for someone who has really sparse/thin eyebrows looking to create a more fuller look. You have good eyebrows to start with so I couldn’t see much of a difference. They still looked good though at the end!

Your brows looked good before which is a blessing. I have thin brows that grow downward and I tried this today. I’m happy with the results but I also have natural brows that aren’t nice.

I find it funny and disappointing how people are commenting on the esthetician’s work. She did exactly what the client asked for so why the bad review and crappy “attitude”. This is why I don’t like RUclipsrs y’all seriously think you guys know every and want to discredit people who actually went to school to do these things and have the license to provide the service in a SAFE and CLEAN environment. I’d like to see y’all try to laminate y’all’s eyebrows and I can’t wait for all the “accidental damage” done to eyebrows and eyes everywhere because you took the advice of a RUclipsr instead of going to the proper salon professional.

Just got mine today and let’s see how this goes. Were the first days of doing them were they darker?
My brows are curly and I got them laminated today. My eyebrows had an arch to them but they never looked as thick as they were because my hair would not stay anywhere with brow gel. Having them laminated them changed the font I swear and you can see the natural arch to my eyebrows. I don’t wax or pluck them at all but now they look fantastic without me touching them

Ok, this puts me in a tough position. I've been a holistic Aesthetician for 20 years. I have to speak out about this process. I just did a pro training for this treatment and I'm walking away saying to myself, "I will absolutely not do this to my clients' poor eyebrows." After what I just heard about how "fragile the hair follicle is once lamination chemicals have been applied, and how careful we have to be in touching the brow to avoid breakage during a certain part of the process", there is an undeniable message for the future there. Your eyebrows are going to permanently fall out if you do this regularly. The brow-damage-to-the-frequency-of-service ratio is going to depend on each individual client's hair/genetic tolerance level. Brow hair already falls out as you age. The last thing you want to do is injure your reserves and encourage that process to happen faster. Everyone, including the intimidating white coats, has insisted that cosmetic injectables are "safe" ALSO, for decades, only now to find out they cause Auto-Immune disease. Wondering why one of the reasons AI dominates in women? It's now gaining FDA attention. You have to use common sense ahead of time with all these beauty fads. Organic and noninvasive approaches are your future self besties. facials and peels, Microderm and Nano Resurfacing, brow wax and tweeze with vegetable dye tints, organic cosmetics (so you don't poison your spouse each and every time they kiss you) organic food, face yoga, good sleep, and stress management are ALL your friends. Call it a day after that people. Stop overwhelming yourselves with so much high-maintenance self-expectation. Natural beauty, and the methods that support NB, is always going to be seen as more beautiful inherently b/c it's inherently sustainable. The people around you who don't get chemical treatments will thank you for helping to support a healthy globe and global mindset. b/c you're not rinsing millions of tons of nasty cosmetics down the drain daily. Read books and study religion and learn a language. I am just beyond exhausted by the amount of procedures women are doing these days, by the amount of procedures I'm expected to support in my business. I will not be responsible for your eyebrows falling out in the future. This has not been time-tested for a certainty. We're mentally, physically, and financially declining as a sex b/c of all this vanity. We don't need to look like inflatable monkeys in a space shuttle going 1000 miles per hour. LMAO.

I truly feel like due to the fact that you already have really nice and thick brows, a brow lamination wasn't needed. The Tint that was added to your brows didn't do much since they are already thick, however, I feel like if you would have done a shade darker then your brows would have definitely been too dark. I think brow lamination may be best for people with thin brows and sparse areas. You have nice brows Queen keep paying your $12 at the mall.
Personally, I LOVED right after she finished but I understand you like them a certain way. Really, though you have beautiful brows and didn't need to spend the money.

I think if you would have went home and not mess with your eyebrows you would have seen the difference between what a lamination should look like and what they look like if you just do waxing. Plus you're like touching your eyebrows rubbing all over them so it's a lamination isn't going to last anyway.
Her's were already naturally pretty, that's why she asked in the beginning did she have anything done to them already, she didn't need them

I think Brow lamination not suit to everyone, it’s good for someone had messy grow hair brow in different direction and quite thin but your natural hair brow is thick and perfect growth already so not good for this treatment that’s why it’s look funny and no wonder why u brush your hair back to your normal shape cause it already perfect ❤️❤️sorry for you spend $75 xxx
😮 just a $5 tip on $75 bill. That is a specialized treatment, not a plate of food at the local diner. You still need to give a 15% tip at diner, if the service is good. Lucky for the girl that did your treatment, that you don’t want to spend money on your brows.

You would have felt better if you hadn’t felt rushed and she had told you what she was doing rather than you ask each step. I would question my service as well😊 for my money. Ijs. I feel like lamination makes your brows choppy, what you went home and did kinda defeated the purpose of getting laminated brows lol but honestly, you slaw your own brows...might as well do them yourself!

The point of lamination was the look that she gave you. You chose to go home and put your brows back to what you originally had before lamination...and then complained about it....make it make sense

This video is so helpful and everyone is being harsh. This is an honest review and experience. Idk why everyone in the comments are expecting you to be a knowledgeable esthetician or something. You’re commenting from a normal persons perspective and that’s what’s important. This helped me understand along with the comments that I probably would have the same reaction although I think my eyebrows are thinner than yours, I may be a good candidate and can pace my reaction if it doesn’t come out as hoped.
