My Father played the accordion and he played all of those tunes. He taught me. I'm also from Texas
A friend treated for my birthday to see this band. Honestly, I had never heard of them but I went because I had heard of Flaco Jimenez and wanted to see him live. Sadly, Flaco had fallen the night before and was only able to perform three songs. However, the band did not disappoint. They were awesome beyond anything I can describe. The skill of the accordion player was just amazing. He even performed a Jimmi Hendrix number as well as a couple of Cajun songs which were just off the charts! Young man also has great stage presence. We loved the band here in Chicago. Can't wait for them to return.
Felicidades Max Baca and Texmaniacs very good Beautiful Concert come to Lancaster California so we can go to see you
So excited to see this band tomorrow night along with Flaco Jimenez and Los Lobos in Toledo, Ohio

The Cajun music is legit!...great talent from all of you gentlemen.
Norteno, sister
@@indigogirl17 actually it's Rock, I think that's what their talking about.
Not Cajun (Zydeco), which is in French or English not Spanish. It could be called norteno ( north Mexico), tejano (Texan Hispanic) or conjunto (group). In its present day incarnation, it originated in San Antonio, Texas. But there plenty of artists in this style on both sides of the border.
Look forward to seeing these guys in Brady, Tx for goat cook off Labor Day Weekend. What a great band!!
