⚓ CELTIC WAY 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ CASTROBO - PARAMOS 👀 PREVIEW

Long stage in kilometers that we start from Castrobó and then cross the valley of the Río do Grelo. Here we will take a detour to leave through the cornfields of a neighbor of the place of Gaitande.

In Gaitande we will visit the church of Santa Baía de Castro, which stands out for the baroque style of its main facade.
Then we will overcome the profiles of Monte de Castro first and Alto de Torreiro later to reach Bormoio, in the parish of Agualada.
After contemplating its monumental heritage we ascend through the Caamaña Mountains and the Carballo da Armada to gain panoramic views of the Bergantiños region.
We enjoy a good stretch of dirt road between pastures, cornfields and eucalyptus as we pass from the Concello de Coristanco to Santa Comba, also greeting the Lands of Xallas.
In this last municipality we will visit the temples of San Pedro de Xallas de Castriz and Santa María de Vilamaior to then advance towards the place of Carboerio, where we will discover a surprising evidence that confirms the existence of an old pilgrim hospital.
Finally, we will travel through the beautiful countryside of Portomedal, O Porto and A Cavada, towns belonging to Val do Dubra, until we reach the end of the stage in Paramos, the point of confluence of all the slopes of the Celtic Way before arriving in Santiago de Compostela.
