Your chicken pastel looked oh, so good Dave! Rich and creamy! 😋 Sitting at 17 Celsius near Toronto Ontario! Looking for rain, sometime tomorrow! Have a good day my friend!
Looks good Dave. Had a good Mother's day yesterday. They took me to Mexican restaurant called Agave. Bought me an Orchid which I've never had before. Hopefully I can keep it alive. At least its not an Easter lily. My soon to be daughter inlaws mother got me one of those and I found out they are poisonous to cats, dog and even humans just not as much. As far as the weather here in Indiana. Depends on the time of day. We have a saying if you don't like the weather just blink and it will change. It was nice and sunny on Sunday, high around 75. Mondays supposed to be good until evening then the rain comes in Tuesday. Have to change my doctor appointment again.
If you keep your orchid in the kitchen or bathroom they seem to like the steam. Only water once a week. If the flowers fall of do not cut the stock were the flowers were as they usually flower on that patch again. I hope this was helpful. Hugs from Belfast Northern Ireland.xxx❤❤❤
Hey Becky. Glad you had a good Mother's Day. I think I've heard of that restaurant. Sounds like the food is good. Sounds like you liked the orchid. You are having warmer temperatures than we are for sure. Coming soon I hope. Hope you have a great week.
Thank you for all the tips. All the tag said was put an ice cube in the pot once a week. They gave me an Easter lily on Easter but it's not doing so good. I have pets and I read that it's dangerous for pets like cats and dogs. Thanks again. @lyncrawford3349
@@beckyhines3814 do not put an ice cube near your orchid. They say that it will destroy it cause you wouldn't put an ice cube on yourself. Hope this is helpful. Hugs from Belfast xxx❤️❤️❤️
The only chicken pastel I follow is from your old video chicken pastel. My family loves that version. It's always a winner for us. This seemed to be the same recipe too. Thanks Dave!!
I remembered an almost similar dish to this one but a lighter soup version. I think it's called creamy chicken macaroni soup. Another comfort food for the win. 😊❤
garden vid please. Here in my part of Canada we can't hope to garden until May 24 or later. We tried in 2017...i got tiny turnips. Nothing else worked out.
Dave , very nice recipe & yes on us & the girls. I think I will make some homemade biscuits & put this recipe over the biscuits open faced , these days yard bird is a budget meal with veggies & folks need to learn how to make homemade biscuits instead of more costly canned biscuits. Maybe some cottage cheese on the side & a cold glass of milk to drink , chocolate milk for the girls. Keep your stick on the ice pal. btw, beef prices , they are having serious droughts in the cattle states here & there is now a shortage of cows , so supply, demand , has caused skyrocketing beef prices.
Hey Steve. Love the idea of open face over biscuits. Going to try it. Love my yard bird meals. Yes, on the cottage cheese and milk. I know about the price of beef; I didn't know about the drought. See you at the lodge my friend.
Sausages were kept in the casing. If you take a close look at the sausages when been mixed into the fry pan the casing is still in place at the center of each piece cut.
Great 😊
Can't wait. I live in Upstate NY and planted some vegetables already. Watching for the frost. 50-60's here today.
I know. I'll keep an eye out for frost. It's cool here as well.
I miss upstate NY 😔💔

Absolutely perfect as always, Dave. Is egg drop soup considered comfort food?
Thanks, Byron. It was so good. I think it would be for sure. Hope you are well my friend.
Question Friend Dave, are the sausages still in their casings when cut and sauteed? Thank you.👍

Yes they are. Hope this helps.
