Was the most produced fighter only if you agree to count the YAK series as separate aircraft. Many ppl do not. Not all the 'improvements' were viewed as such by the pilots. If I recall correctly the G-6 was seen as a backward step.
As colonel of the Hellenic Air Force I've got all the official records of the planes used from my country since 1912. If you don't bother I'd like to provide me the source of this absolutely wrong information
Unfortunately I took at face value via wiki and a few casual articles via google. I've just spent a good many hours scowering the internet looking for any evidence of 109s particularly serving as part of 335 squadron in 1944 as claimed. Now obviously theres a bibliography via en.wikipedia.org/wiki/335th_Squadron_(HAF) and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Bf_109#CITEREFForsgren2017 but i'd struggle to wade through it all. Thanks for drawing this to attention and you are certainly most likely correct. Cheers.
Didn't mention the GAINT cannon in the nose.😊

Bf109 never flew for the Hellenic Air Force
I may well stand corrected.
