Very nice. There's an original model of Philly's 1876 centennial exposition (made around 1900) still available for viewing at the Please Touch Museum in Philly. Had a great visit to St Louis in 2012 - saw the City Museum and went up the arch!

I'm curious if these historians actually believe hand tools like shovels built the world's fair grounds, or if they just want to keep their jobs? Lol.
I suspect those buildings required coal/steam power tools through the industrial - showman locomotive.
    Love this!!

If I ever had access to time travel, visiting a world’s fair would be top of my list. 1904 in Saint Louis would be extraordinary, wouldn’t it? Of course, Saint Louis in 2024 is a Red State cesspool, so we’ll avoid at all cost.

You can stay in your blue state cesspool.

A deeply blue city in a red state. The mayor and all congressmen from St Louis are Democrats! All of them! Nice try buddy.
