Then she asks what the artefact for. Alpha explains (this I'm not sure) that when their magic is sealed they can use it to defeat it. (From here i can understand). Delta then says she can just use fists if her magic is sealed and then that happens.

If goes by that logic thinking, even touch me (world champion player) wouldn't be able to survive because he's human. That skill should have some limitation like level difference or something. And we don't know how high Cid's level in overlord series standard, but he should be max level. By that logic ainz can't kill cid with grasp heart

The thing is, as OP as cid seems to be, his durability naked isn't that great, I mean he was cutted by a simple sword (although he allowed it) it made him bleed a lot, about the limitations of grasp heart, in the anime it was shown failling against golems or creatures without a biological heart, Cid's heart is biological indeed. The problem is if Cid's magic manipulation can translate into innate magic resistance, if thats the case he's got a shot at surviving it, because cid can survive magic attacks, but those were projectiles, grasp heart seems to be a instant effect type attack. speaking of cids durability, I think his slime suit does most of the work in that matter alongside his magic manipulation, I believe he can endure the slime suit to make it harder than any armor in his verse. And finally in speed I think Cid wins 10 times over ainz. As a conclusion, Cid is techcnically human with a enormous magic manipulation skill and mana pool, if there were to be a Cid vs Ainz in the new world, I'd say Cid's "I Am Atomic" would be at the level of "Fall Down" or that OP magic that can only be used by "World Disaster"-class characters, and he can spam it some times, so yeah Cid has a chance to burst down ainz I'd say.
