For anyone interested in buying this palette: the shimmers are beautiful and dimensional but they’re not as impactful as Adept’s shimmers have been in the past. Don’t get me wrong, I love them. Just letting you know in case you’re expecting textured metallics. I didn’t like the 4 mattes at all. They were patchy and hard to blend in my experience. The color story is sooo pretty but the mattes disappointed me, just trying to be helpful! Thanks you for your review and swatches! 💜
I don’t know which look I like best. I actually really love the first green look! I do love the 2nd, and I do love the third look! I even loved the third look before you put the shimmer down. The adept mattes look so pretty on the eyes…. Love all three looks!
I only care about 4 things in palettes: does it go dark; I want at least 3 very dark colors; does it flatter brown eyes and tan to caramel skintones, does it last on my oily lids [with primer], and are the shimmers spectacular; I want sparkly, high impact, beautiful finishes. I want to say Wow! Every time I swipe the shimmer on. Maybe this palette delivers, hope I find out in your review.
I'm glad you compared it to Minka. I have neither, but I'm not looking for a Sydney Grace palette at the moment. I have those and love them, but I want more impact from my next purchases. As impactful as Blend Bunny All Done Up or more. Sparkly, shiny, bit dramatic. Do you think I would like Adept Samarian Sunset? Is I more impactful than this one?
Samarian sunset is more shifty than this for sure.. flying fiddles is elegant and perfect for everyday.. whatever you pick if you love the color story.. you will love it
