      Nathan Morrow naw it means you only traditional production styles like boom bap, there’s much more versatility for a producer to be great or even good in their respective styles. Like when you guys were hating on Parker(injury reserve)’s Production.

    definitely not one of the best episodes/beats to be featured in this series but man some of y’all just need to make peace with the fact that other people have different tastes! hip hop has branched off into multiple sub genres with all of their own unique sounds and styles and that’s fine. hip hop production is an open and unclaimed frontier

    All the hate in the comments are from “producers” and “DJs” in their late 30’s/early 40’s mad cause they keep it “authentic” and still ain’t got no placements. I don’t know any 16-25 year old that can afford a Maschine or a MPC. The shit ain’t cheap.

      Our producers made classics that's still being played today u age group make crack music it only last a minute then it's old and everything sounds the same raps and beats no one is original soon as a new beat or rhyme style comes out everyone wanna make a beat to sound like it. Our we took chances. Name one of your producers with a catalog like Dj Premier or Pete Rock or Rick Rubin

      @@3rd_eyeairbrush Metro has produced for just as big artists as Rubin and has dope beats, Clams Casinos style was very original and he produced for many great artists in the 10s buy one was the most iconic, like Premo in the 90s. I could go on. Just because you don't like their style as much doesn't mean they are worse or have worse catalogs.

      Half of the main producers you look up to not even play the keys, they use samples by other producers and give them credit. Times has changed and you don’t need to be a genius to make a hit you just have to have a vision and go for it and make the track happen.
