Back to 6S powered 600 size bird. Brings back fond memories of the 600ESP's debut. Beautiful machine, amazing rotor noise and precise fluid flying style. I could watch this silky glass smooth goodness all day long. Another brilliant flight Alan; thanks so much for promoting & sharing the passion. 👍
I think I like this a lot more than the 2000 rpm head speed 3d so fast you can't keep up stuff. This is like slow-mo compared too some of the other stuff, and really shows off how smooth and skilled the pilot is. I hope this is a new trend.
So pleasing to watch. A lot of people don't get the high speed stick banging 3D; it just looks like chaos. But even the layperson can watch this and appreciate it. I hope to fly half as well some day.
SOOOO much nicer than head banging 3D! This is the style I've been flying my RC helis since 1988. Back then this would be considered a fairly high head speed with my Hirobo Shuttle ZXX and wooden blades.
Hey, magic fingers!!!! Love the graceful flying. That is way to cool!!!!! I could fly that exact helicopter and it would NEVER look like that!!!!! Fantastic flying!!
Thanks for this video. I enjoy watching more graceful precise flying like this than when it just a blur. What is the difference between this one and the 650X F3C? I know what F3C is but just wandering what the changes are for the F3C version (higher gear ratio for the tail?).
Alan, when set up like this, are you using purely your skill as a pilot to carefully manage the collective, or do you dial the collective pitch right down to like 8 degrees too?
What motor? OEM kit motor and gearing? I couldn't help but notice the top of the can was hand engraved 440Kv. The kit motor is advertised as being an "800MX" also rated at 440Kv. Is this just an early addition of what comes with the retail kit? If I do the math on 6S battery, 440Kv motor and 7:1 gearing, I come up with 1,395 headspeed. Is that what we are looking at in this video and what folks can expect from a production Align 650X?
Correct this is an early prototype motor before the production kits. And also correct for what to expect if you just purchase a production 650X and throw a 6S battery in it with a head speed of 1400rpm. I recommend 12S for sure if you don’t plan on changing anything mechanically.
@@alanszabojr Mr. Szabo - Can you elaborate on the mechanical changes you are alluding to above that are necessary to run the 650x strictly on a 6s battery? Is there a setup tutorial somewhere that might be helpful? There is no mention of this in the Align manual - Thanks!
y'all know this guy video he are using 800MX (440KV/4530) at 1400rpm. Instead for true 6s setup he should be using Align 800MX Brushless Motor (720KV/4530)
Doing aerobatics or any form of 3D is a little more difficult as the helicopter doesn't have any reserve power flying at this headspeed. If using 12S and a headspeed of around 1750 would be a lot more ideal and easier to fly. If just hovering around and simple loops this isn't too bad for anyone else I'd say.
I don't think this model has to many option on pinions other than what comes in the kit, i would guess the stock 16T, Align dosent have a adjustable motor.block so you can't play with different gear ratio, the newer 700 models give you two optiins 110/13 or 112/12 but i haven't seen other option to the 650X other than the 16T
Absolutely loving the slow acrobatic 👏👏👏👏

the flying , the lighting and the heli are all perfect . thank you

This ^^^. I actually had a shuttle ZX back in ‘90 I think. Good times.
The amount of precision demonstrated is unreal 🎉
Thank you
of all the flying styles people have yours is the most enjoyable to watch. Thank you for the inspiration you provide to all of us in this hobby
Thank you
Un vuelo muy preciso, con pocas vueltas, es como un buen piloto brilla. Genial👌😁

Nice flight Alan ! Perfect colective management !
Bro I love the low head speed flights
Thanks for the low rpm flying! It’s rare to see someone flying in the sub 1500 rpm range on a 600/700 heli and make it smooth.
ich liebe deinen langsamen Flugstil
First alan, your amazing... Second just wondering, a rough guesstimate on how many times you crashed getting as good as you are...

I’m actually not 100% sure but I would bet it’s gear ratio differences. Maybe head dampeners as well.

Also, good to see you flying Futaba! :D
With a lower head speed like this you do need to be more careful with the collective but you actually use a lot more of it due to the lower headpseed.
@@alanszabojr thanks for suggestion Alan
Amazing Pro pilot!
Perfect..!
nice flying can u point me in right way to get battey straps for the 700x please and thanks

So you can run either a 6s or a 12s on the 650x stock setup? The electronics can accept both?

Great power
Is that the 12s motor and speed controller running on 6s? Beautiful flying by the way
Yes it is. Not the ideal setup but people wanted to see if it would work at all.
@@alanszabojr I see
Is it more difficult to fly with the lower head speed. For use who wish we could be that smooth

Hi Alan, how are you getting the tail to hold at low rpm? did you change tail gear ratio or use bigger tail blades?
Stock gearing and stock tail blades. I can honestly say once you try a futaba 760 flybarless gyro nothing comes close to its tail performance.
Thanks for information Alan
And question do you like to fly with bigger helicopters or smaller.
For me the 550X and 650X are a great sizes but there is something awesome about flying an 800.
wonderfull flight😍🔥💪
What pinion are you flying with? Nice flight, I enjoy your videos.

Hi Alan, is 1400rpm the maximum headspeed of 6s ? Thank you for your Videos !! Greetings from Austria !
1400 is what you get when you put only a 6s pack in a 12s setup.
What is the throttle percentage at this headspeed on 6s?
This is at 100% throttle because the motor and pinion are from the 12s setup.
how i can fly like you :) very perfect
I tried to like this twice, but RUclips would not let me....?hHahahahahahh
allerdings gefällt mir die neue Haube gar nicht
