Nice mystery music. In the beginning looks like my first day on the ship I didn't know where I am haha. Lost every where. I opened the crew door as well so confused lol.
Been on a few cruises with Matthew as our assistant cruise director and he is hilarious, he has a loving heart and will always be the bingo queen! Love the content Danny, keep it up!
Thanks!!! Ya I gave Emma my iPhone on the gimbal shooting 1080 at 120... I ended up using most of her shots :) and ya I don’t try and respond this fast ... it just happened to pop up right in front of me :)
I tried so hard to get a part 2 to this, and then p&o said they made a new rule about filming in crew areas 😰 hopefully they will let me into make a video in those areas
Absolutely ... I was just at a party last night with all the laundry people. It’s my understanding that, although you have 11 hour day, you get enough time off to make it around 8 hours or working... sea days can be long but port days you have more time off
🙂 Just like being on shore....after work. I use to finish my evening shift about 9pm. Then straight to the crew bar until about 11.30. Then up at 6am for my shift. You don't work 11 hours straight. Generally worked 6am to midday. Then 5pm to 9pm. In the afternoons we would sleep, sunbathe or go ashore if in port. Evenings after work were usually in the crew bar. Basically worked hard and played hard. It was great fun.
Not a big cruiser...which is to say I have done maybe 8 cruises. I prefer the resort style vacations, but with that said I have enjoyed the staff,.and ensure I tip when its appropriate, to include a very generous tip to the staff assigned to clean my suite.💰
That was nice of you Steve. I do agree that sometimes it’s nice to be on a resort... but also it’s nice to have the locations changing and different adventures coming to you.
Ya it’s tough ... because I watch my videos back on headphones and on phones and computer... and it’s hard to get a proper balance between all of them ... although I did this last year and I think I’ve gotten a little better. But thanks for chiming in always good to get feedback to keep in mind on future vids ! Thanks for watching.

I never thought that crew have so good place for after party too. Really cool 😃.
Behind the scenes of a cruise ship theatre is worth a full length documentary by itself!
Ya. Would be fun to make a show on just the crew back stage!! They are all characters
Think I rember staff faces in this video from when I was last on that ship
I hope they are all doing well... probably weird for a lot of them being at home this long!
Thank you. Great video. Love Matthew....and he is super graceful!
Ya Mathew is a treat for sure. I think he is moving on to a cruise line out of the Uk now :)

Can I have your access card to look by the closing doors! :D ;) I think is so much fun to go where passengers can't access.
Haha it’s funny how it always makes you curious to see what’s back in those spots but I spend the majority of my time in the guest areas lol
where is danny black is true.Like myself I am curious always what is there where I can't go :D
Nice video. Id like to see the engine room and bridge.
I tried so hard to get a part 2 to this, and then p&o said they made a new rule about filming in crew areas 😰 hopefully they will let me into make a video in those areas

So cool The Director was awesome
Just curious to know, when working a 11 hour shift without any day off, how does the crew have time to use the game room and party?
