Thank you for this. This was a great refresher for me. Nearly 30 years ago(!) I took a class with Celia Quinn, and bought a gorgeous set of 5 pitch Meck English combs. I want to use them again, and your video was the perfect reminder of the motions etc.

Yes, they can be used in that way -- and for things like felting, making dryer balls, and, as you say, stuffing. Birds love them, too, at nest-making time! It's definitely not waste. At worst, it can go into the compost heap and replenish the soil. 😀

Does this method work with finer, more slippery fiber like alpaca?
