I am VERY glad and surprised he’s reacting to that “LongLegs” trailer. Glad it’s gettin reach. Also, they JUST released the trailer with the official release date of the Movie. Can’t wait.
There is a hype factor to A24. That is very true, but you cant look at just their horror movies and think theyre bad. Everything Everywhere All At Once was an amazing once in a lifetime movie. I myself dont find a lot of horror movies scary despite being a fan myself.
Definitely the best horror movie of the 10’s. Its *actually* scary because the writers and Ari Aster were too accurate with the occult symbolism and the spiritual realities of the occult. This coupled with the score and Ari Aster’s ability to capture raw human emotion made it an instant classic horror
@@darwin6680 I think a lot of people see scary as “that made me jump” instead of “I thought about that for like a week after I saw it,” which in that case, I agree, it’s not startling but it’s definitely dread inducing

shawn watching the full trailer and having a full rant yap session about it not realising the dude was talking about the very short released trailers is beyond me
Disturbing shit isnt scary tbh ngas getting an axe in the back isnt that good anymore even if there is good buildup. Im more scared by narrative implications and creepy world building the “tragic events” follow after you have a good basis
Shawn starting off this vid with getting angry at homosexual demons in a hypothetical is exactly what i needed
his take on demons is ironic considering he got a berserk carpet in the bg lol
Omg bruh nooo😭😭😭
Hereditary, Midsommar, and Oculus were the last legitimately creepy/uncomfortable horror films to watch.
I heard oculus was crazy
Mehh hereditary and midsommar were just tasteful dramas to me. They didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all
Incantation and Lake Mungo for me
It depends on what scares you. Body horror scares me so Hereditary and Midsommar got me. Oculus was just really good suspense. I liked all 3 though.
@@alwaysm.i.a10 I like you too and I like your taste in horror films

Nocturnal Animals has one of the scariest scenes you will ever see in a movie 🎥
Them havin the guitarist of Slipknot in sinister will never not be dumb🤦🏽♂️
Sinister is only scary when you watch it alone in the dark at night, that's how i watched it

Shawn not thinking Hereditary was scary is absolutely insane
Shit was not scary gang perfectly slept the night i watched it. Still good tho

@@OrthoReadings i think Hereditary is more haunting than scary
Crazy ass intro

Texas chainsaw massacre ending has the main character dying in the whip.
U know whats sacry naked people hiding in corners of your house watching u
I watched hereditary bout 6 times. Best horror in bout a decade or more
Demons and the Devil literally do the opposite of God. So yes it’ll possess you and abuse you to do a spiritual connection.

Sinister wasn't even memorable to me.
btw first omen a dope movie thats scary tbh kind of
Nah I disagree. It was a good movie but it wasn’t scary. It was a lil creepy and disturbing a lil bit
