Hi sir meri friend hai uska husband aur father in law advocates hai, aur divorce decree ke pehele hi 2nd marriage karliya aur after that divorce order hua aur high court me decree ke against stay hua hai. mere friend ne unke upr 494 of IPC unke ke upr criminal case Kiya hai kya aap bata sakte ho ki uski husband ka licence suspend karsakte hai kya sir.......

Hi. Thanks for your query. If you have paid fees to advocate and you have supporting for payment, it's lawyers duty to give receipt. You can definitely lodge a complaint against him, if he is not intentionally giving you receipt. However, if fees is paid in cash ( which ideally should not be paid in cash but no doubt many advocates demand fees in cash for some reasons) and no other proof of payment is available, then it's difficult to track the payment and advocate may deny receipt.

@@vslawacademy-CAVishalShah Thank you. I was forced to pay by cash only but as I said I didn't bring money with me, I paid by gpay, which she accepted finally. I asked her atleast give me an acknowledgement message for receiving the payment. She denied that too.

Thank you for your kind information sir... A brother of an advocate harmed my property intentionally and cought on cctv and then the advocate made me wait so many days with assurance to repair my it and finally ignored. When I lodged fir against his brother ....the advocate complaint against me falsely before my higher authority to harm my job through his brother and use to threaten me and also lodged civil cases to harass me.... Whether it falls under misconduct of an advocate?
