  • What Is The Best Car Polish?
In this video I will share with you my thoughts on a car polish I can not live without when detailing cars and paint correcting prior to ceramic coating.
The term "Car Polish" covers a wide group of products in the detailing industry, this could include Glazes which fill-in light scratches and swirl marks. All in One Polishes (AIO) that also offer protection. However for me the most important is a cutting compound, as this is what's going to do all of the heavy hitting removing scratches and swirl marks from your cars paint work.
For me, Koch Chemie H9 is just the best at what it does! Not only can Koch Chemie H9 remove sanding marks as tough as 1209 grit it will also leave you questioning whether you need to polish the paint with finishing polish.
As you know I work along side Ultimate Finish here in the UK and this is what they say:
"...H9.02 Heavy Cut is a heavy cutting compound ideal for the removal of heavy marring, elimination of deep scratches, effective removal of paint mists and sanding traces of up to 1,200 grain. With its abrasive grain, Heavy Cut 9.02 achieves an extremely high level of cut with an excellent gloss level and can be polished for prolonged periods without sticking. Suitable for all types of paint (both soft and scratch-proof).
    Features & Benefits:
-Heavy cutting compound quickly removes heavily weathered blemishes
-Suitable for use with all types of paintwork including soft & scratch-proof
-Combines a high level of cutting power with a high final gloss
-Low dust generation + low stick..."
As always thank you for watching,
    Joe

Great video Joe, good to hear the H9 is good on the rotary too. I'm a big fan of Megs 205 also but on the rotary with a 3M black pad 😎 low and slow.

Hi fantastic video i can tell you really appreciate that product kochchemyh9 i will definitely give that a try in the future. I have the Meguiars 105 and 205 but i do feel sometimes the 105 is just tickling the paint. Keep up the great work i enjoyed your enthusiasm it makes it so much easier to discern those just pushing junk for the coin. Peace

An amazing finish from the H9, I don't have that but may have to get some now! Would you say it would be good for coating removal also?
I have the F.601 but yet to use it. Have you tried it?
Many thanks for the brilliant content you take the time and trouble to produce.

      Hi Ally thanks for watching....
So Yes I have previously used H9 for coating removal and it works great! In answer to your second question I have and with a yellow Rupes pad this work great as a one step enhancement polish!
Happy polishing and thanks for watching.

Tried it with some professionals friends... Great finish, but still the dust is a nightmare when you need to compound very hard... Seriously, try ultracut by carpro, if you need a better cut sonax ultimate cut... You'll thank me. Tried on a glazurit Mercedes, hard as a rock, with the festool shinex and a twisted wool pad 😅
