I’ve also needed to make a serious decision and I believe this will benefit me as I continue my off grid life here at my cabin.

The price of everything is rising and your timing couldn't be better. Your hard work ethic is a blessing but you were burning the candle at both ends. Now that you've established your channel and have a steady source of income, you can simplify your life further.

I did the same thing twenty years ago and never looked back.
My dream engineering job that was a pressure cooker , my failing marriage and my heart were all against me ,so I took the corporate buyout , divorced and tried to find a cure for my health.
I'm in better shape now than I've been in thirty years but it took a radical lifestyle change.
I'm thankful you had the strength to step away and spend time with your family and make your life more fulfilling. I pray your channel continues to grow as you inspire many others.

Hi Lisette, im an English woman who has lived in France all my life since i was 18, i came here from London to be with my French husband and lived for 24 yrs in the North of France bringing up my children and living with horses and animals in the countryside after a long divorce i went to Paris and after 4yrs retired to the countryside in southwest France. I have always worked here and i am now an astrologer. I live like you , very remotely, with my animals full time, in nature alone. I'm so happy you have made this choice you will find other ways to make money and be creative. Nice plants. Tip for transplanting tomatoes, pinch off the low branches and bury most of the stem. The stem will create more roots should make a healthy plant. Enjoy this summer. I recently retired early from my job of 32 years for similar reasons as you. Take care.

I hope everything works out well this summer for you! Care giver/ construction worker can be a huge load on the mind! I drove a semi and pulled a bulk tanker hauling powder cement and fly ash to job sites. Long hours! Hard work too! I am a care giver for my 92 year old mother and I don't think I could have handled both at the same time! Hope your summer goes good! Have a good day!
I commend you for your lifestyle. It is so nice to live and be doing what you love to do. I lost my 4 legged fur ball this past July. We were together for 4 years. Lily was a Golden Shepherd who lost her back legs. She was a sweetie. I enjoy your videos and you are one that I watch each new video.

Enjoy your summer and getting lots done. Be aware that the more time you spend doing the things you enjoy the harder it is to go back to work. I retired 3 years ago with the idea that I would work a bit. Covid forced me not too and now I don't want too, I would much rather stay home and tend the place and play with the grandkids. I was so happy to be retired from my job of 29 years and have the last couple yrs with my dog Bella to her final breath. I never left her side. I loved seeing the new puppy and Snows and Kimbers reaction to the pup was cute as can be.

To make your life easier if you have alot of bird feeders you can make a tool to bring them down easy enough. You just need a wooden handle as long as you need it and screw a coat hook at the top of it. Works like a charm!😘

If Kimber is having problems getting around because of her joints give her Glucosamine Sulfate which is used by vets for older dogs with joint problems. It works on people too. God Bless you for being the kind loving person you are.

I am a lifelong part-time country boy myself (hope to make that full time before too much longer) and therefore I can relate very strongly to nearly everything you do, along with the way you find and demonstrate meaning in the rhythms and accomplishments of daily life. There is much to learn in just seeing, feeling, noticing and sensing what is around us, things we all too often miss as we strive to get tasks done and meet an endless barrage of responsibilities. Lisette I think I can speak for us all by saying that we support you no matter what! Watching your videos is like going and hanging out with a good friend (just over the internet) because your very personable. I can understand taking some time off because things can get overwhelming at times, especially taking care of a family member (I am taking care of my grandmother so I understand). One thing I wanted to say might help Kimber, is try putting her on Cosequin if you haven’t already…it’s not unusual for older large breed dogs to develop a bit of arthritis especially in the hips. I use Cosequin for my fur baby and it makes a difference in her getting around better. I hope you get in some fun fishing trips and camping trips this summer! You captured some amazingly beautiful scenery as always!!
Also I think if a lot of us lived closer, you’d have no trouble on your large projects, because you’d have what we call a weekend work party where I come from…usually a couple of the guys and their wives show up to do the cooking and have dinner ready for everyone around 1800 and all the rest (usually several dozen guys) roll up their sleeves and get to work at 1000 hours and don’t quit til around 1800!! We’ve rebuilt entire barns in a day doing stuff like that, and it’s always fun at the end of the day to relax with friends and family.

Good morning Ms. Lisette, have not been on for a wile. My mom had become sick and my brother and I have been taking care of her........ unfortunately we lost her on palm Sunday . My birthday and mother day wear the same day this year and we had a special day planned, but the good lord had different plans. She would have been 89 on May 23. You enjoy every minute you get to spend with you mom and do the things that make you happy in life for we have no promises or how long we get. Thank you for sharing your world with us.

Life is short, so taking time off to smell the roses and doing some fishing is good for the soul.. I find it does the body and mind good as it give time to reflect on one's life and of coarse there are always projects that will fill your passion for accomplishments.. Spend as much time with your gals as you can. After losing my dog I often think I didn’t spend enough time with him. What I would do for one more hug and kiss. Work can wait. ❤️

I know you have made a wise decision. On 3/5/2023 I laid to rest my best friend. It has left a hole in my heart that I really doubt will ever get filled. He and I worked our lives away and now retired we didn't have enough time to enjoy life. It is really great you are taking care of your mother. You only have one and when she is gone it also leaves a hole in your heart. Enjoy everyday with her because one day you will be willing to pay any price just to hear her voice again. You are certainly a good person with a beautiful spirit.
