- Sometimes doing an extreme closet declutter means to take a closet that is messy and out of control and, well, get it under control. In our case an extreme closet declutter means that we have an extremely small closet and we use it for both of our clothes, all the family's linens, all of our towels, our half cleans, our iron, and my jewelry... and we're decluttering it!
So even though our closet wasn't "out of control", here we are doing our extreme closet declutter and getting all that under control in a nice decluttered way!

What does your closet look like? Be honest!

My closet has a lot of stuff in it, but it's a huge walk-in closet and there's plenty of space so there really isn't any incentive for me to declutter it. I love how you show us that it is actually easier to live with less. Love the Chicago White Sox hat and the story time break!
That is my dream to have one day! :) But no matter the size of a closet or the number of clothes in it, it's nice to be able to find what you are looking for when you need it! :) (But knowing you it's probably tightly organized already)

Man, you really gave me the decluttering fever! I made my very own time capsule! I think I'll give it a few more days and then discard what I haven't wanted. I think part of my closet decluttering hesitation was being unwilling to part with clothes that we worn but not totally destroyed, but that I definitely don't want to wear anymore... I still have so much trouble with my top shelf, though! I end up throwing things up there because I can't reach and then it looks meh...
You are my soul sister!!! Haha.
Maybe I should just assign the top shelf for Binni and his things.
I ended up getting 4 shirts out and putting them back in my closet, but I still got rid of quite a few things. :)
Way to go decluttering your wardrobe btw. What's your next project???
@@RealOrganized Aww, you're so sweet! Oh, and I'm a teacher too, by the way, just like you! My next project is... the TEA DRAWER. It was my goal a while back to fit all teas and coffees and tea- and coffee-making accessories in this one deep drawer. But... it sure is crowded and hard to use, even though I use it a billion times a day...
