ppl I found out that if u dont want ur mask to be glossy, u can smudge the mask with TOOTHPASTE after sanding it!! it will fill in all the ugly holes!! you can sand paper it again after it dries, then put toothpaste on again! you can repeat these process until u r satisfy!

The first time you probably didn't use vaseline.... You probably used vics vapo rub.

very good, but as a phantom phan...i'm disappointed to mimicked the movie's mask as opposed to the broadway style
when you apply the petroleum jelly to your face does it have to be totally dried in before applying the plaster paris strips
petroleum jelly doesn't dry :) just works as a release agent so the plaster doesn't get stuck or rip your skin.
Where do u get the plaster paper
Try pasting on liquid latex over it.

Don't use that pen!!! you'd be better off using pencil eyeliner to draw the outline
